We hear the deep pain and anger in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up your cry for justice. The hurt you’ve endured is real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s righteous intervention. However, we must also examine this prayer in light of Scripture, for our words to God must align with His truth and character.

First, we must address the tone of vengeance in your request. While it is right to seek justice, Scripture warns us against taking vengeance into our own hands or praying for harm upon others. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" God is just, and He will deal with wrongdoing in His perfect way and time. Our role is to trust Him, not to demand punishment or shame upon another.

We also notice the focus on material restitution ("refund all my money back to me 10 fold"). While God cares about justice in earthly matters, our ultimate hope is in Him, not in financial repayment. Matthew 6:19-20 reminds us, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven..." True healing comes from God’s presence, not from earthly compensation.

Most importantly, we must pray for the salvation of this person who has wronged you. Ezekiel 33:11 declares, "As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die?" Even in our pain, we are called to pray for those who hurt us, that they might repent and turn to Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been deeply wounded. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the injustice they have endured. We ask for Your healing touch to mend their broken heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your love surround them in this difficult time.

Father, we pray for justice to be served according to Your will. You are a God of righteousness, and we trust that You will deal with every wrong. Help this one to release their anger and desire for vengeance into Your hands, knowing that You will repay. Teach them to forgive, not because the wrong was justified, but because You have forgiven us so much.

Lord, we also pray for the one who has caused this pain. Soften their heart, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. May they turn to You, seek forgiveness, and walk in Your ways. If there is restitution to be made, guide the process according to Your will.

Above all, Father, we ask for Your supernatural favor and victory in this one’s life. Restore what has been lost, not just materially, but emotionally and spiritually. Let them experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every area of their life. Surround them with godly support and wisdom as they move forward.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our pain and offers us true healing and hope. Amen.

Friend, we encourage you to release your anger and desire for vengeance to God. Cling to Him in this storm, for He is your refuge and strength. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone, God sees you, He hears you, and He will never leave you.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Only through Jesus can we find true peace, forgiveness, and eternal life. If you’d like to know more about how to begin a relationship with Him, we are here to help.

We hear how deep the wound goes, when someone has treated you badly, it can feel like the hurt fills every corner of your mind and heart. Wanting God to step in and make things right is not wrong; He cares about justice and He sees what you've endured.

What can be hard in this moment is carrying the weight of deciding exactly what that justice must look like and exactly when it must happen. That weight will exhaust you. We've seen over and over that when we hand that role back to God, saying "You are the judge, not me", something defensive in our own soul can begin to loosen. It doesn't mean what happened was okay; it means we stop letting the one who hurt us rent space in our head for free.

One thing you might try, if you haven't already, is to sit down in a quiet moment and simply write out the concrete losses you're carrying: the financial loss you mentioned and any other damage this person caused. Getting it on paper can sometimes help the jumble feel more ordered and specific, which makes it easier to lift it all to God piece by piece rather than as one overwhelming mass. You are asking for success and favor, and part of moving forward honestly is naming what was taken so you can start rebuilding with clarity.

We're praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, You see what has been done and the pain it has caused. We ask You to be our sister's defender, to provide real, practical justice in Your own way and timing, and to make her secure. Where there has been financial loss, open the path for recovery and provision. Most of all, guard her heart from bitterness and give her the clear-eyed peace of knowing that You are the righteous judge, so she can lay this heavy burden down and move forward in Your strength. Amen.

The cry for instant divine vengeance, while born of deep anguish, reveals a spirit far removed from the Golgotha prayer, "Father, forgive them." To plead for sackcloth and shame upon another's head, to demand the permanent stripping of a man's livelihood, and to seek tenfold monetary return for suffering, betrays a heart more occupied with personal vindication than with the marvel of Divine Sovereignty. What if the Lord’s interposition in your life is not to grant swift, punitive victory over an adversary, but to grant you swift, transforming victory over the bitterness corroding your own soul? Our trials and troubles, by Divine Grace, strengthen and improve us, and we always have great cause to bless God for them when Grace sanctifies them to our highest good. That Divine Grace which saves a soul is not a noisy thing, neither is it visible to any but the receiver; it often works not by overthrowing external enemies, but by overthrowing the internal enmity of pride and wrath.

You demand no delay, yet consider the Divine interpositions in Scripture. They are often marked by a sacred pause, a season where the proud forge of the human heart is melted down until it reflects the calm of Heaven. Never draw any inference from the wreck of earthly fortune as to God’s neglect, for His silences are not signs of His absence. Our Redeemer’s look upon fallen Peter broke him to restoration with a single glance full of unutterable meaning, not a thunderbolt from the sky, but immutable love, that Divine hammer which breaks the rock in pieces. To be accepted in the Beloved, to be a sweet savor unto God, is not to have all external foes vanquished in your timing, but to have the unworthy self supernaturally brought into conformity with the One who, when reviled, reviled not again. The generous Lawgiver who commands the release of debtors expects His own people to find their deepest favor not in the court of human justice, but at the foot of the Cross.

Therefore, while the Spirit fights for you, He may be fighting against you, against the unlovely zeal that demands absolute shame for another while seeking absolute success for self. The great design of Divine restoration is that we may strengthen our brethren, not execute temporal judgments upon them. Christ’s prayer is that your faith fail not, and as that faith emerges from the trial, it will find its richest refund not in coin, but in the supreme comfort of knowing you are fully restored to the Divine heart and entrusted with a tenderness toward the broken. Humble yourself under the Almighty hand, and let the Divine work do what your angry cry cannot, thrust out the enemy of a hard heart, that you might stand among princes through the merits of Jesus Christ alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The words you cry out in your anguish reveal a heart deeply wounded, and I do not dismiss your pain. Yet I must speak truth to you in love, for the prayer you offer strains against the very spirit of our Lord. You ask for punishment, shame, and swift destruction upon another, even as you demand blessing and restitution for yourself. But what does the Master teach? He who, when He suffered, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. To ask that your enemy be brought to his knees in disgrace is to forget the mercy you yourself need at every moment. Are we not all debtors to grace?

Christ commands us to retaliate with exactly the same acts, and even that is a bridle upon our wrath, for the offender often deserves a far greater punishment. God mingles mercy with justice, teaching us while we suffer to show forth great consideration. When you are wronged, you have an opportunity, not to call down fire from heaven, but to heap coals of kindness upon the head of your adversary. The true victory is not in seeing another humiliated, but in being conformed to the image of the Son, who prayed for His murderers.

The trials permitted to come upon you are a form of discipline, a training like that of the disciples when Jesus took them apart. He does not waste your sorrows; He sows seeds of self-restraint and patient endurance in your heart. Do not cast these seeds away for the thorns of bitterness. I urge you, turn your prayer. Ask the Lord to search your own heart, to grant you the supernatural favor of a forgiving spirit, and to work justice in His own time and way. Leave your enemy to God. Your true need is not the swift ruin of another, but the deep healing of your own soul. Let us pray that you may receive strength to bless and not curse, and so walk in the footsteps of the One who endured the cross for us all.
