We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this matter in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is a righteous judge, and He sees every injustice, every hurt, and every act of unkindness committed against His children. We declare that His justice will prevail, and His conviction will fall upon those who have caused harm.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking that You mightily attest to the truth in this situation. Let Your Spirit convict the heart of the one who has caused pain, not only to this dear one but to so many others. We ask that You bring about a swift and unmistakable reckoning, Lord. If it is Your will, remove this person from their position of influence, for You say in Your Word, "For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:28). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect justice, Lord.
We also lift up the one who has been wronged. Father, heal the wounds that have been inflicted, emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Pour out Your comfort, peace, and restoration over this precious child of Yours. Remind them that You are their defender and that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, or desire for revenge that may be taking root in this situation. Instead, we pray that Your love would overflow, leading to repentance and restoration where possible. But we also trust that You will deal justly with those who refuse to turn from their ways. Your Word says, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Let this truth be manifest in this situation, Lord.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that while your cry for justice is valid, we must surrender our pain and desire for retribution to the Lord. Trust in Him to fight your battles, for He is faithful. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14). Let your heart find rest in Him, knowing that He sees all and will act on your behalf.
Finally, we pray that all involved would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If there is unconfessed sin in this situation, whether it be anger, bitterness, or even the actions of the one who has caused harm, we pray for repentance and redemption. May all hearts turn to You, Lord, for You alone can bring true healing and restoration.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
