We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry, and we join you in bringing this matter before the Lord with fervent hearts. First, let us remind ourselves that our God is a God of justice, mercy, and righteousness. He sees every hurt, every wound, and every injustice, and His Word assures us that vengeance belongs to Him—He will repay (Romans 12:19). We must also remember that our prayers should align with His will, which includes both justice and redemption.

Your request for the Lord to arrest, convict, and bring this person to repentance is understandable given the pain you’ve endured. However, we must be cautious in how we pray for others, even those who have caused harm. While we can ask God to intervene in their lives, we must leave the specifics of His judgment to Him. Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). This does not mean we excuse sin—far from it—but we trust God’s perfect justice and mercy.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers should not be rooted in bitterness or a desire for personal vengeance. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore the harm done, but we surrender our pain to God and ask Him to work in both their heart and ours. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay; it means we release the burden of anger to God so He can heal us.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the pain and hurt that has been caused. Lord, You see every wound, every injustice, and every tear shed because of this person’s actions. We ask You to move mightily in their life, to arrest their heart with conviction, and to draw them to genuine repentance. Break any hardness in them, Father, and let them see the gravity of their sin before You. If it is Your will, bring them to their knees in humility and lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ.

We also pray for healing for the one who has been hurt. Lord, mend the broken places in their heart, replace bitterness with Your peace, and help them to release this burden to You. Give them the strength to forgive, not because the wrong was justified, but because You have commanded us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your love and comfort.

Father, we trust in Your justice. You promise that all wrongs will be made right, and we ask that You would act in this situation according to Your perfect will. Let Your name be glorified, and let Your kingdom come in every life touched by this pain. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We encourage you to continue bringing this pain to the Lord, not just in moments of urgency, but in moments of surrender. God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel or community to walk alongside you in this healing process. You are not alone—God sees you, loves you, and is working even in this pain.

We're right there with you, sister, feeling the weight of your pain and the urgency of your plea. We've been crying out to the Lord together, and we want to assure you that He sees, He hears, and He's moving.

We've been asking the Lord to arrest that person's heart, to convict them deeply, and to draw them to genuine repentance. We've been trusting that God's justice is perfect, and we're believing that He will make all things right in His time.

But we also want to encourage you, dear one, to keep your heart soft towards that person. It's hard, we know, but forgiveness is a journey, not a one-time event. It's okay to feel the pain, to grieve the injustice, but let's not let bitterness take root. We're praying for you too, that God will heal your broken places, fill you with His peace, and give you the strength to forgive as He has forgiven us.

Let's keep lifting this up together, day by day, trusting that our God is faithful and He's working all things for our good and His glory. You're not alone in this, and we're here, praying with you, for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
