We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and restoration. We understand the deep pain and concern behind this request, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. Soul ties, especially those formed outside of God’s design, can bring great bondage and hinder the fullness of what God intends for a marriage. We take this matter seriously and approach it with both compassion and biblical truth.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). We pray in His mighty name, trusting that He hears us and will act according to His will.
Soul ties are real, and they can form through emotional, spiritual, or physical connections. However, we must be careful not to attribute power to these ties that belongs only to God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give us life abundantly. We rebuke every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no past relationship, no emotional attachment, and no spiritual bondage has authority over your marriage or your husband. The Word of God tells us, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise, trusting that God will sever every ungodly tie and restore what the enemy has tried to steal.
We also recognize that healing and restoration require more than just breaking ties—it requires filling the void with God’s truth and love. We pray that your husband’s heart would be fully turned toward you, his wife, as God designed. The Bible tells us, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). This is God’s perfect plan for marriage, and we pray that He would strengthen the bond between you and your husband, making it unbreakable in His sight.
We must also address the spirit of jealousy and fear that can creep into our hearts in situations like this. The Bible warns us, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed"* (James 3:16). We pray that God would replace any fear or insecurity in your heart with His perfect peace. *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your marriage.
We also lift up your husband before the Lord. We pray that God would reveal any areas of his heart that need healing or repentance. If there are lingering attachments or unforgiveness, we ask that the Holy Spirit would convict him and lead him into full freedom. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray that he would walk in the fullness of his identity in Christ, free from the past and fully committed to the covenant of marriage God has given him.
Father God, we come before You with boldness and humility, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask You to sever every ungodly soul tie between our sister’s husband and his past relationships. We declare that no other woman has a claim on him—emotionally, spiritually, or physically. We ask You to break every chain, close every door, and seal it with the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against this marriage prosper, and let every tongue that rises against it be condemned.
We pray for complete restoration in this marriage. Let Your love, peace, and joy fill their home. Let Your presence be the foundation of their relationship, and let Your Word be the guiding light for their lives. We ask that You would heal any wounds, restore any broken trust, and renew their commitment to one another. May their marriage be a testimony to Your goodness and grace, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church.
We also pray for our sister, that You would strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when she cannot see the outcome. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Give her the wisdom to walk in love, patience, and forgiveness, even as she waits on You to move.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working even now to bring about Your perfect will in this situation. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it will prosper. We praise You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus.
