We lift this urgent plea before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mighty intervention in your marriage and the salvation of your husband. We ask that You would fan the flames of love, desire, and passion between this husband and wife. While your desire for your husband’s salvation and a thriving marriage is beautiful, we notice an emphasis on *your* role in making these things happen—*"through me"* is repeated several times. Beloved, salvation is the work of God alone. You cannot save your husband; only the Holy Spirit can convict and regenerate his heart. Your role is to pray faithfully, love him unconditionally, and live out the Gospel before him, but the outcome rests in God’s hands. We encourage you to release this burden to the Lord and trust Him to move in His perfect timing. As it is written, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1 WEB).
We also want to gently remind you that your worth and identity are not defined by how much your husband desires or loves you. While it is natural to long for intimacy and affection in marriage, your ultimate fulfillment must come from Christ. He is the only one who can satisfy the deepest longings of your heart. Seek Him first, and He will guide you in how to love your husband well.
