We hear your deep distress and cry out to the Lord on your behalf, standing firmly on His Word and in the authority of Jesus Christ. Soul ties—those ungodly spiritual connections formed through sinful relationships, emotional attachments, or sexual immorality—are real, and they must be broken in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:16, "Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, 'The two,' he says, 'will become one flesh.'" While this verse speaks directly to sexual sin, the principle applies to any ungodly bond that defies God’s design for marriage.
Your husband’s soul ties with his ex-wife and any other women are not only sinful but also a violation of the covenant he made with you before God. Marriage is a sacred union, and God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but where ungodly ties exist, they must be severed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We rebuke every unholy connection in Jesus’ name and declare that your marriage is covered by the blood of Christ. The Lord says in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." This includes not only physical infidelity but also emotional and spiritual unfaithfulness.
We also must address the urgency in your request with discernment. While we stand with you in prayer, we must ensure that our hearts are aligned with God’s will. Bitterness, jealousy, or a desire for vengeance can take root if we are not careful. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32), even as we pray for justice and restoration. We encourage you to examine your own heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where unforgiveness or resentment may be hindering your prayers. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We lift up this marriage to You and declare that it is covered by the blood of Jesus. Lord, we renounce and break every ungodly soul tie that exists between this husband and his ex-wife or any other woman. We sever these ties in the name of Jesus, declaring that they have no power or authority over this marriage. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We declare that this husband is yoked to his wife alone, as You designed.
Father, we ask You to heal every wound in this marriage. Restore what has been broken, and fill both husband and wife with Your love, peace, and joy. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would guard their hearts and minds, and that they would seek You above all else. Lord, we ask that You would expose any hidden sin or ungodly influence in this marriage, and that You would bring repentance and restoration. We stand on Your promise in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."
We also pray for this wife, Lord. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace. Help her to release any bitterness or unforgiveness, and to trust in Your justice. Your Word says in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We trust You to bring justice and restoration in Your perfect timing.
Finally, Lord, we declare that this marriage is built on the rock of Jesus Christ. We pray that both husband and wife would seek You first, and that their marriage would reflect Your love and glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
