We understand your urgent prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. We commend you for including Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God.
Firstly, let's remember the beautiful words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (WEB): "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
As wives, we are called to respect and support our husbands, and as husbands, they are called to love and cherish us, just as Christ does for the church Ephesians 5:33 (WEB) states clearly "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of marriage. We come to you in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear sister seeking your blessing, favor, love, desire, attraction, and commitment in her marriage with ###. We pray for the marriage to grow stronger and deeper every day.
Lord God, we ask that you would help them to love each other as You have loved us, and that their marriage would be a reflection of Your unfailing love. We ask that You would fill their marriage with Your grace, wisdom, and patience. Please help them to always put You first and to seek Your will for their lives together.
We rebuke any spirit of jealousy, envy, or comparison with other women. We pray for ### to have wisdom and discernment in his work and hobbies, and that his commitment to his wife would always be his first priority after his relationship with You.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your marriage, and to trust in God's perfect will for your life together. Remember that God's desire is for husbands and wives to be one, and that His love is the perfect bond of unity.
Lastly, we remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in His purpose for your marriage, and seek His will in all things.
