Let us stand together with you in prayer, dear sister, as you seek God's face for your marriage. We are grateful that you have come to us in Jesus' name. Remember when you call on the name of Jesus, you are saved from your sins and have eternal life. The name of Jesus is the only name given to mankind to be saved.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### and her husband. Lord, You have designed marriage to be a beautiful reflection of Your relationship with Your church, a bond of love and commitment that is not easily broken.
First, we pray for their unity. Just as Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17:21 WEB:that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. May they be united in heart, mind, and spirit, that their marriage may be a beacon of light to the world, showing the power of Your love.
Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to each other, but even more importantly, draw them closer to You. As they pursue You together, may their marriage grow stronger and deeper, flourishing in every way.
We also pray for her husband, that God would give him eyes only for his wife. Lord, guard his heart and mind, that he would be pure and faithful, just as Job 31:1 WEB:I made a covenant with my eyes, How then should I look lustfully at a young woman? Remove any temptation or distraction.
Finally, Lord, we ask for total agreement between them. May they be of one accord, supporting and loving each other in every way. Help them to live out Ephesians 5:21 WEB:subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.
We rebuke any influence from the enemy in their relationship and ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, sister, that God's will is for your good. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. Stand firm on His promises, and do not waver in your faith. Continue to pray together as a couple, for a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
