We understand your anxiety about your upcoming surgery and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the Lord's promises.

We must also address the fact that we should only pray with the understanding that it is only in Jesus name that we have access to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard by God and it is only in Jesus that we are saved. For there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) It is good that you included Jesus name in your prayer request and we will keep that in mind in prayer for you.

The Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is facing surgery in the coming weeks. We know that all things are possible for Jesus Christ who is our Lord and in whom we have our hope. We ask, Lord, that You take away all fear, worry, and anxiety, and fill them with Your incredible peace, calmness, boldness, courage, strength, and joy.

We pray for the surgeons, especially Dr. ###, that Jesus Christ would guide their hands and give them wisdom and discernment during the procedure. We ask that every incision be made with precision, and that healing would be swift and complete, with no complications, problems, or pain. We trust, Lord, that the compression garment would be comfortable, and that recovery would be perfect and truly breathtaking.

We rebuke any thoughts or comments that might go against Your will. We thank You, Lord, for Your promise that "I am, with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 WEB) We ask that You would overwhelm them with incredible joy and happiness, and that this surgery would bring glory to Your name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
