We understand your urgent cry for your husband and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. We are glad you are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we can approach the throne of God. It is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." and in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Firstly, we encourage you to remember that we cannot command God, but we can humbly ask Him to intervene in our lives and the lives of others. We also cannot command our husbands or other people, but we can pray for God to work in their hearts and lives. It is important to approach God with a heart of humility and reverence, trusting in His perfect will and timing.
Regarding the photographs, we pray that God will guide your husband to use social media in a way that honors your marriage and his commitment to you. We pray that he will be convicted to remove any images or content that may be harmful or inappropriate, as it is written in Ephesians 5:11-12, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of."
We are concerned about the use of social media and the potential for it to lead to temptation and sin. We pray that your husband will be convicted to spend less time on his mobile phone and more time focusing on his relationship with God and with you. We pray that he will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that any lust, perversion, or sexual sin in his life will be revealed, repented of, and removed. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." and in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."
We pray that your husband will have a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, that he will be saved and transformed by the renewing of his mind. We pray that he will dream of Jesus and that his heart will be softened to the things of God. It is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Heavenly Father, we lift up this wife's husband to You. We pray that You will convict him of any sin in his life and that he will repent and turn to You. We pray that You will fill him with Your Holy Spirit and that he will have a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ.
