Scripture is clear that marriage is a holy union between one man and one woman, ordained by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Adultery is a sin that wounds deeply, but we serve a God who heals the brokenhearted and restores what has been broken (Psalm 147:3).
First, we must rebuke the spirit of infidelity and deception that has taken root in this situation. The Bible warns, *"Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral"* (Hebrews 13:4). We declare in the mighty name of Jesus that any ungodly soul tie, emotional or physical bond between your husband and this other person is severed now by the power of the blood of Christ. Let there be no trace of it left—no hidden files, no saved memories, no lingering connections. The Word says, *"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"* (John 8:32). We pray that the truth of God’s Word would flood your husband’s mind and heart, breaking every chain of addiction to this sin. We command every ungodly habit, thought pattern, or emotional dependency tied to this relationship to be broken now in Jesus’ name.
We also address the legalistic language of "decreeing and declaring" in your request. While we understand the urgency and desire for immediate change, we must remember that our authority comes from submission to Christ, not from our own words or demands. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10). Our role is to align our hearts with God’s will and trust in His timing and power, not to command Him as if He were our servant. We encourage you to surrender this situation fully to the Lord, trusting that He is working even when we cannot see it.
If your husband has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ, we pray for his salvation. There is no true repentance or transformation apart from the saving grace of Jesus. The Bible says, *"For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
