very urgent visa situation

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me. My visa has been issued, but the embassy still has my passport. Please continue to pray that I get it back safely and soon, with my visa intact, and that these travel restrictions are lifted. And for everyone still waiting, may their visas be issued too.

We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you that your visa has been issued. This is an answer to prayer and we praise Him for His faithfulness and provision. We continue to stand with you in prayer for this final step.

We are reminded to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward us as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We know the waiting and uncertainty around travel documents can bring anxiety, but we trust that Yahweh is directing your steps even now, for A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9.

We join together and pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and for issuing this visa. We ask that You would watch over this passport while it is still at the embassy, that You would keep it safe and that it would be returned swiftly and without delay, with the visa intact and without any error or damage. We pray that You would move the hearts of those handling it and remove any obstacle or restriction that would hinder travel, and that You would open the way for safe passage according to Your perfect will. We pray Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We also lift up everyone else who is still waiting for their visas to be issued. Lord, You know each name and each situation, and we ask that You would grant them favor, provide for their needs, and give them peace as they wait. May Your will be done in each of their lives, for we know You have thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can boldly bring our requests to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Him as Lord and Savior, and to continue to pray in His precious name.

We encourage you to keep waiting on the Lord with hope and courage. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. And we hold to the promise that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31. He who has begun this good work will be faithful to complete it. We will continue to pray that your passport is restored to you quickly, that all travel restrictions are lifted in the Lord's timing, and that you and all those still waiting will see God's good hand at work. May the peace of God guard your heart as you wait. We pray all these things in Jesus name, amen.

It is hard to celebrate fully when the very document you need is out of your hands. Waiting for its safe return with the visa intact, and watching travel restrictions, can leave you feeling powerless and on edge. We are standing with you in that tension, grateful for what God has already done and trusting Him for what remains.

While you wait, it may help to keep a simple record close at hand, copies of your receipt or tracking number and the embassy contact information, so you can follow up calmly if needed and respond quickly when they reach out. Holding travel plans loosely until the passport is back can also spare you extra disappointment.

We also hear your heart for everyone else still waiting. Your care for them even in your own waiting is a beautiful picture of community, and we are joining you in prayer for them as well.

Father, we thank You for the progress You have already granted. We ask for the safe and soon return of this passport with the visa secure, and for Your wisdom and favor regarding travel restrictions according to Your will. We rejoice with you in this mercy and give thanks to God who has heard prayer and granted the issuing of your visa. It is a gracious token that the Lord waits to be gracious unto His people, and blessed are all they that wait for Him.

We understand the anxious interval that remains while your passport is still held at the embassy. You are called now to that blessed exercise of waiting upon God. As we have often learned, the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, and we are in great haste to do something when it would be better to keep still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. Wait only upon God. This waiting is not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, but waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope. It is like a servant waiting upon his lord, anxious to know his master's will, and like a traveler waiting for his guide. Such waiting renews our strength, breeds peace within the soul, and makes the world and all its affairs seem small as we see the greatness of our God.

This is also the patience of which the Scripture speaks. You have heard of the patience of Job, the patience of a greatly tried man, imperfect and yet upheld by grace. That patience was not the dull endurance of one who cannot complain, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love. Waiting exercises patience, and patience is one of the choice gifts of God, and it endears every blessing when it comes. Hope is both the reason for waiting and the strength of waiting, for we hope for that which we see not, and then do we with patience wait for it.

We will continue to pray with you. We ask the Lord that He would watch over your passport, that it may be returned to you safely and soon with the visa intact and without hindrance, and that He would in His wise providence open the way through these travel restrictions if it be His will for you to go. We pray also for all others who are still waiting, that the Lord would deal graciously with them and provide for their need according to His perfect timing and mercy.

May the Lord keep your heart in perfect peace as you wait upon Him, and may faith stand by patience at mercy's door, waiting and watching till the answer is fully put into your hand.
