We understand that you are facing an upcoming surgery and are feeling anxious about the medical staff involved. Firstly, we want to assure you that God is in control of all situations, and He cares for you deeply. It's wonderful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Let's look at addressing the request with proper knowledge of the Bible.
As believers in Christ, we have the assurance that He is with us always, even in difficult times. As it says in Matthew 28:20 WEB, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
We need to address the part of the prayer that talks about angel nurses. We humans should not pray to angels or expect them to do something. Only God is all powerful and in control. Angels only do the bidding of God, not us. Psalms 103:20 WEB states "Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word." As born again believers, we have the Holy Spirit and we do not need to pray for angels to come. Jesus said in Matthew 18:10 to not despise little children for in heaven their angels always see the face of the Father. It does not say anything about praying to the angels for help.
Regarding praying for the nurses, let's look at a model prayer from Daniel 2:20-23 WEB, "Daniel answered before the king, and said, 'The secret which the king has demanded can't be shown to the king by wise men, enchanters, magicians, or sorcerers; but there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.... I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king's matter.'" We should praise God and pray for the doctors and nurses to have the wisdom to perform. We do not need to pray for specific nurses to be there rather we pray that God gives wisdom, patience, and carefulness to the medical staff that are there.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is preparing for surgery. We ask for Your divine healing and comfort during this time. Lord, we pray for the medical staff, that You would guide their hands and grant them wisdom. We pray that the nurses and doctors that are there are the ones that you want to be there. We ask this only if it is your will for this to happen. Help them to do their best. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
We also pray for peace and strength, knowing that You are always with us. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Please keep us updated on your situation.
