Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for trusting the Lord with these deep needs. I join you in bringing them before Jesus, our great High Priest who has passed into heaven and who represents us before the Father. He is holy, harmless, undefiled and separate from sinners, and He was appointed by the Father to offer Himself for us. Because He lives forever to intercede for us, we can come with confidence to receive mercy and grace in our time of need.
For the concern about a very high A1c even with fasting, I pray the Lord will bring healing, wisdom and favor. Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, and I believe strongly that God still heals today. At the same time there is much about healing I do not fully understand, why some are healed quickly and others more slowly. There is one account where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man and at first the man saw only partially, and then Jesus touched him again and his sight was fully restored. That reminds us that sometimes healing is a process rather than an instant moment. God has also established healing processes within our bodies, and those natural processes are still divine because He created them. Any true healing, whether it comes gradually through medical care, through changes in diet and treatment, or through a clear touch from the Lord, is a gift from Him. I pray that God will guide your doctors to find the underlying cause, give you wisdom for next steps, protect you from harm, and bring restoration to your body. And even as we pray for physical healing, we also ask Him to bring peace to your mind and heart, for He heals inward wounds as well.
I also lift up your loved ones and their education and future. I pray they will not give up, but will be given clarity about the path the Lord has for them, whether that is continuing in higher education, serving in the military, or finding good employment that allows them to work while studying part time toward a degree. May the Lord open the right doors, provide high favor, and direct their steps so their work and studies draw them closer to Him.
For your home, I pray God will guide you to the place He has chosen for you, a larger home where you need to be, and that He will surround you with true godly friends who will encourage your walk with Him. His mercy toward those who fear Him is as high as the heavens are above the earth, and we stand in His grace as we seek Him. May He draw you and your family ever closer to Jesus and make His will clear in each of these areas.
