We hear the deep concern and weariness in your heart as you struggle with your health, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. It is clear you are seeking Him, and that is a good and righteous thing. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and when it is afflicted, we are called to seek God’s healing, wisdom, and strength. Your fasting and cry for help show a heart that longs for His intervention, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our Lord is the Great Physician who sees and knows all things.
The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* Your weakness is an opportunity for Christ’s strength to be made perfect in you. Do not lose heart, for He is with you, and He will sustain you.
We also recall the words of James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we come before the Lord in faith on your behalf, trusting in His power to heal and restore. Have you sought wise counsel from godly leaders or medical professionals who can walk with you in this? Sometimes, the Lord uses the hands of doctors and the wisdom of His people to bring about healing. Do not neglect the practical steps He may be leading you to take.
We notice you mentioned *"bring us justice"*—we do not fully understand the context of this plea, but we know that our God is a God of justice. Psalm 33:4-5 declares, *"For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh."* If there is injustice in your life, whether in your health, your circumstances, or relationships, we pray that the Lord would expose what is hidden, vindicate what is right, and bring His perfect justice to bear. Trust in Him, for He sees all and will act in His perfect timing.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister who is weary and burdened by the struggle of high A1C levels, even in fasting. Lord, You know the depths of their body, the weariness of their soul, and the cry of their heart for strength and justice. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power. Regulate their blood, restore their strength, and grant them wisdom to know how to steward their health in a way that honors You. If there are underlying issues—physical, spiritual, or emotional—we pray You would reveal them and provide the grace to address them.
Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross. By Your stripes, we are healed, and we claim that promise over this beloved child of Yours. Strengthen them when they are weak. Encourage them when they are discouraged. Remind them that You are near, and You are working even when they cannot see it.
We also lift up their plea for justice. Father, if there is oppression, unfairness, or any form of injustice in their life, we ask that You would rise up as their Defender. Expose what needs to be seen, vindicate what is right, and let Your justice roll down like waters. Protect them from harm, and surround them with Your favor as with a shield.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would deepen their trust in You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, even now.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root. Satan, you have no place here. This child of God is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we declare health, strength, and victory over their life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it. In Jesus’ precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with all your heart. Continue to bring your requests before Him, for He delights in the prayers of His people. If there are areas in your life—diet, stress, sleep, or spiritual habits—that may need adjustment, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Sometimes, the Lord uses our trials to draw us closer to Him and to refine us. Stay steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you.
If you have not already, we urge you to seek medical advice from professionals who can help you manage your A1C levels. The Lord often works through the wisdom and skills He has given to doctors and healthcare providers. Do not hesitate to reach out for help—it is not a lack of faith but a wise stewardship of the body God has entrusted to you.
Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to this truth, and let it anchor your soul in the days ahead. You are not alone. We are standing with you in prayer, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always. Keep fighting the good fight of faith!
