We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, lifting you up in prayer for healing and restoration. The struggles of COPD, the relentless coughing, congestion, and wheezing are heavy burdens, but we know our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed your lungs and breathes life into your very being. He sees your pain and hears your cries for mercy. Let us turn to His Word for comfort and hope, remembering that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
The Scriptures remind us that by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over your body today. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, where He invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. Your body is weary, but He is your strength. We pray for supernatural healing over your lungs, throat, sinuses, and chest—commanding every infection, inflammation, and obstruction to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. May the Lord rebuked the cold that grips your body and replace it with His warmth and wholeness. Let His healing power flow through you, renewing your breath and restoring your strength. We ask for wisdom for your doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by the Lord’s hand to provide the best care and treatment. May favor surround you in every legal matter, and may God’s peace guard your heart as you trust in Him.
We also lift up those traveling in these harsh conditions, asking the Lord to break the spirits of rebellion, stubbornness, and pride that may be lingering in their hearts. The Word warns us in Proverbs 16:18 that "pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We pray that the Lord would humble their hearts and turn them toward Him, that they may walk in obedience and wisdom. Cover them, Lord, in the freezing temperatures, and protect them from sickness and harm. Let Your blood, Jesus, be a shield over them, preserving their health and safety as they journey. We ask that You soften their hearts to receive Your love and correction, drawing them closer to You in repentance and faith.
Finally, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. We thank You, Jesus, for Your mercy that covers us and for the power of Your blood that cleanses and protects. Let this truth be a reminder to all of us that our hope is found in You alone.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon our sister/brother’s body right now. Fill their lungs with Your breath of life, clear every passage, and restore them to full health. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are their Healer and Provider. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith for their complete restoration. For those traveling, we ask that You break every chain of rebellion and fill them with a spirit of humility and obedience. Bring them safely to their destination, healthy and whole, and use this time to draw them nearer to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
