Please pray that my ex will never contact me again. Pray for the worldly situations and people who were in my life in the last few months to be removed forever and put behind me. Pray for their salvation. Pray for my ex with his cancer diagnosis and for him and his loved ones to come to faith in Christ. Pray for me to TOTALLY get over him. Thank you.

We are joining you in prayer and we hear the pain and the desire in your heart for a clean break and for complete healing.
We understand your request for boundaries and for distance from your ex and from the worldly situations and people of the last few months. It is biblical to desire to leave the old life behind and to be set apart for God. We are reminded Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity Or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14 and also Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. God does not want you entangled again in what pulls you away from Him, and it is right to ask Him to remove those influences and to guard your heart and your steps going forward. At the same time we encourage you to walk in forgiveness even while you maintain firm boundaries, for that is part of your own freedom and healing.
We also lift up your ex before the Lord with his cancer diagnosis and we pray for his loved ones as well. We know God is compassionate and able to heal and to save, and we pray for both physical mercy and eternal salvation for them. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are thankful you prayed for their faith in Christ, for that is the greatest need any of us has.
We pray for you to totally get over him, and we know God is near to heal the brokenhearted. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. If this past relationship involved intimacy outside of marriage or any pattern of fornication or living together as if married, we gently encourage you to bring that before the Lord in repentance and to receive His forgiveness and cleansing, and to commit going forward to pursue purity and to seek courtship only with a fellow believer with marriage as the goal, for marriage between a man and a woman is God's holy design for lifelong commitment. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that we have access to Your throne only through Him. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon her heart and mind. Grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Remove from her life the worldly influences and relationships that would draw her away from You and help her to walk in newness of life, leaving the old things behind. Set firm boundaries and give her strength to keep them, and take away the ache and longing and replace it with wholeness in You. Lord we also lift up her ex and his loved ones, we ask for Your mercy upon him in his cancer diagnosis, lay Your healing hand upon him according to Your will, and above all open his eyes and the eyes of those around him to the gospel of Jesus Christ that they may be saved. We pray for their salvation and for their coming to true faith. Lead our sister into the future You have for her, and if it is Your will, prepare a godly husband for her and a Christ centered marriage that honors You. Restore her joy and make her path straight as she trusts in You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace, where there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.
We pray with you that the Lord in His wisdom will set a boundary about you and keep you from those worldly situations and companions which have entangled you in the last few months. It is a good and right desire to be purged of every evil and to have done with the old sins in which you once walked. When Christ and the world go together, a heart may be divided, but when there is a separation, and Christ goes one way and the world another, grace will lead you to turn away from that which you have eagerly followed and to seek after that which you have disregarded. We ask the Lord to remove those influences forever and to put them behind you, so that you may not go back, but go forward with Him who calls you to holiness and to Heaven. As you turn, we pray you may do as many have done before you and make a clean break with the instruments of former sin, that the Word of God may have free course in your life.
We pray also for the salvation of those persons, and especially for your former companion and his loved ones. We ask that the Lord will have mercy upon him in his cancer diagnosis. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, and pardon and healing are one in the hand of Christ. We pray that if it be the Lord's will, He would lay His healing hand upon his body, and more than this, that He would grant him the far greater healing of the soul.
