Please pray for my cat who sometimes scratches himself too hard due to allergies. It seems to be seasonal. Pray for his healing and comfort because he sometimes hurts himself with this. Pray all my pets would be safe, happy and healthy. Please also pray that my human loved ones would be the same and be led to faith in Christ or into deeper relationship with Him. Please also pray about this: I have been plagued with divination thoughts since being in the new age even after returning to Christ and leaving behind those things (although I'm hoping that steps I'm taking to walk in true forgiveness and be obedient to Christ in all ways will alleviate these attacks finally). I am experiencing divination thoughts about an ex who I recently broke up with due to us being very unequally yoked and him not being a Christian. I keep having thoughts about him moving on to other people and also about him missing me and wanting to come back. All these thoughts are painful but the thoughts about him coming back are really difficult and cruel because it never actually happens. I try to ignore these thoughts but they are so loud and intrusive and have become so ingrained in my daily life unfortunately. Unfortunately (somehow), these thoughts are also accurate at times and so getting thoughts of him wanting to come back just creates a lot of chaos and even gives me hope. Please pray. The thing is that even if my ex misses me, we CANNOT be together unless he is a Christian. I tried to open his eyes to the error of his beliefs and I hope it bears fruit anyway not for my sake (although it would be beautiful to be able to end up with him) but for his. Pray for his loved ones' faith too. Last, please also pray for my business to be profitable. I have so many things to take care of within the month and if my business doesn't work out, I will lose so many things financially, etc. But this seems to be the only option to gain an income. The Word is clear that divination, fortune telling, and seeking hidden knowledge apart from God is forbidden and an abomination to the Lord, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Leviticus 19:26. Even when such thoughts seem accurate at times, they are not from the Holy Spirit but are deceptive intrusions from the enemy who seeks to confuse, torment, and give false hope. We rebuke that spirit of divination in Jesus name and we renounce every door that was opened through the new age. We encourage you that your steps toward forgiveness and obedience are right and good, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. Continue to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. We pray that you would be renewed by the transforming of your mind, Romans 12:2, and that you would bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5. We ask the Lord to clothe you with the whole armor of God that you may stand against the schemes of the devil, Ephesians 6:11, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, Ephesians 6:12. That was an obedient and painful but faithful choice, and we honor you for it. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and courtship as boyfriend and girlfriend should only be entered with the goal of finding a godly spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and if there was any sexual intimacy in that courtship, we encourage you to confess it before the Lord and receive His forgiveness and cleansing and to commit to purity going forward, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18. We understand the cruelty of those thoughts that he misses you and wants to come back, and how they create chaos and false hope when they never actually happen, and how even more painful are the thoughts of him moving on to others. We pray together that the Lord would heal your broken heart, for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, Psalm 34:18, and that He would uproot that false hope and anchor your hope fully in Christ. We agree with you that you cannot be together unless he becomes a Christian, and even then any future courtship would need to be a new, Christ centered courtship with marriage as its clear goal and with wise counsel, not a return to the old relationship patterns. We pray for his salvation and for the faith of his loved ones as well, that the seed you planted when you tried to open his eyes to the error of his beliefs would bear fruit for his eternal good, not merely for the possibility of you ending up together, though we understand that longing. We ask God to do what is best for his soul and for yours, and we trust that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28.

Concerning the intrusive thoughts that have plagued you since leaving the new age, we pray for full deliverance. You have done rightly to turn from divination and to walk in forgiveness and obedience to Christ. Those former ways belong to the power of darkness from which Christ alone delivers, and deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Do not give place to these whisperings, even when they seem at times to be accurate, for the enemy can insinuate dark and dreadful thoughts and haunt the soul day after day.
