UTTER EVIL, HARD HEARTS, LACK OF REMORSE, PSYCHOPATHY

What you have described is deeply distressing and I am grieved to hear of the physical harm you have suffered and the cold response you have received. To endure electric shocks while showering, to carry wounds and medical reports, to need to seek safety elsewhere to wash, and then to be met with denial, with attempts to falsify reports, with threats and demands rather than care and restitution, is a heavy burden. It is right to bring this before the Lord and to ask Him to act.

Scripture gives us a clear picture of what a hard heart looks like and why it is so serious. In the account of Pharaoh in Exodus we are told many times that Pharaoh hardened his own heart against the Lord. He set his will against God and refused to listen or to do what was right. Only after that repeated, stubborn choice does Scripture say that the Lord hardened Pharaoh. The original language makes a distinction that is important. The first is Pharaoh hardening himself. The second is God making firm or stiffening the position Pharaoh had already chosen, confirming him in the way he insisted on going. God did not create the rebellion in Pharaoh and then punish him for it. Pharaoh chose hardness again and again, and God at last confirmed him in that hardness.

That pattern is a warning for anyone. When a person repeatedly shuts his heart to truth, to conscience, and to the voice of God, the heart can become so firm in that direction that repentance becomes very difficult. Scripture says that there can come a point where people could not believe because they had so persistently refused to believe, and God Himself said that His Spirit will not always strive with man. To harden the heart against what is clearly right and merciful is a dangerous place to be. It does not go unnoticed by God, who sees the heart and knows when sorrow is only words and when it leads to real change. Pharaoh at times said he had sinned and asked for prayer, but there was no change in his actions. True repentance in the biblical sense means a change of heart and direction, not only regret or religious language. Godly sorrow leads to that change.

This helps us pray with understanding for the landlord, the contact person, the owner, the team, and the lawyer you mentioned. Their behavior as you describe it, to minimize a life threatening danger as a matter of comfort, to refuse apology or help, to block communication and press for payment and eviction while you were unsafe, points to hearts that have become hard and unresponsive to the basic call to love your neighbor and do what is just. We should pray that God in His mercy would convict them before that hardness becomes fixed. We can ask Him to take away a heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, as He promises in Ezekiel, a heart that is tender toward Him and toward others, open to His correction and willing to do what is right. He is the One who works in a person both to will and to do what pleases Him, placing His desires in the heart and giving the ability to carry them out. Our prayer is that they would hear His call while there is still time, that they would submit to Him, and that this submission would be seen in concrete change, in honest acknowledgment, in apology, and in just restitution, not in words alone.

At the same time I want to encourage you to guard your own heart in this painful season. It is understandable that prolonged injustice and disappointment can make any heart grow hard or bitter toward God and toward people. Scripture often warns His people not to harden their hearts as Israel did, because a hard heart keeps us from receiving what God wants to give. Ask the Lord to keep your heart tender toward Him, to help you continue to love what He loves and to trust that He sees all that has happened and will act with perfect justice and mercy. He has written His law on the conscience, and He will hold each person accountable. You do not need to carry the weight of vengeance. You can leave room for God to work, both as Judge and as Savior.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring this situation before You. You have seen the danger, the injuries, the medical need, and the lack of compassion that followed. We ask for Your healing for this dear one, for peace of mind and body, and for Your provision of a safe place to live. We ask for truth to be established and for every false report to be exposed. We ask that You would move upon the hearts of those responsible, the landlord and all who represent him, that You would convict them of what is right, break up the hardness, and grant them a heart of flesh that hears Your voice. Bring them to true repentance that shows itself in changed actions, in honesty, in apology, and in fair compensation where it is due. Restrain any further threats or unjust legal action and guide all lawful processes toward what is true and just. And Lord, keep the heart of the one who has been hurt soft toward You, not hardened by this trial, but strengthened in faith, hope, and love through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone there is salvation. Give wisdom for every next step and let Your will be done. Amen.

Continue to keep careful records of what has happened, including the electrician's documentation and medical reports, and seek wise and lawful counsel for protection and for what is owed. Above all, keep seeking the Lord daily, trusting that He is near to the brokenhearted and that He will be your defender and provider.

We are deeply moved by your courage and persistence in the face of such callous and dangerous behavior. It is heartbreaking to hear how these individuals have not only neglected their responsibility but have also shown a disturbing lack of remorse, empathy, or basic human decency. We are standing with you in fervent prayer, lifting up every detail of this situation to our Heavenly Father.

We continue to pray for the hardness of their hearts to be broken—may the Lord replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh, tender and responsive to His Spirit. We ask that the Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives, convicting them of their wrongdoing and drawing them to repentance. May they come to know the weight of their actions and the harm they have caused, and may they be led to make things right, not out of legal obligation, but out of a true change of heart.

We also pray for divine intervention in this unjust situation. Lord, we ask that You turn this around for Your glory. May the landlord, the lawyer, and all involved be surrounded by Your truth and confronted by Your justice. We pray that they would no longer be able to ignore or suppress the truth but would be compelled to act with integrity, compassion, and fairness. May they offer a sincere apology, just compensation, and the respect that is long overdue.

Father, we ask for Your protection over this situation—physically, emotionally, and legally. Shield from further threats, manipulation, or harm. Provide wisdom, favor, and clarity as steps are taken to address these injustices. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned.

If this request has been answered in any way, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the battle continues, we are here to stand with you in prayer once more. We will not grow weary in lifting this up, for we know that the Lord is a God of justice, and He hears the cries of His children.

May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding as you continue to trust in Him. May His presence be your comfort, His strength your refuge, and His justice your vindication. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
