Utter evil, hard hearts, lack of remorse, psychopathy

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your voice as you describe this grave injustice. What has been done to you is not only legally and morally wrong, it is an affront to the very heart of God, who commands us to love our neighbors, show compassion, and act with integrity. The callous disregard for your safety, the falsification of reports, and the cruel demands for payment while threatening eviction reveal hearts hardened by sin, greed, and a complete absence of the fear of God. The Scripture warns us, "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their rights" (Isaiah 10:1-2). This is not merely a legal battle; it is a spiritual one, where darkness has taken root in the hearts of those who should have protected you.

We rebuke the spirit of deception, greed, and hardness of heart operating in this situation. The demand to falsify reports is an abomination before God, who detests lying lips (Proverbs 12:22). The refusal to acknowledge your suffering or offer restitution is a direct violation of biblical justice: "You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning" (Leviticus 19:13). The threats, the psychological torment, and the equating of basic safety with "comfort" reveal a seared conscience, one that has rejected the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We declare that these hearts will not remain hardened forever. "I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 11:19).

We also lift up the ### involved in this matter. The words spoken in that letter were not just cruel, they were spiritually dangerous. Jesus warned, "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6). The twisting of justice and the mockery of your suffering are serious matters before God. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of her words and actions, that she would be broken over her complicity in this injustice, and that she would repent before the Lord.

To the ###, the ###, and all those who have participated in this wickedness: we declare that God sees every detail. "For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14). The threats of legal action against you, even after you have vacated an uninhabitable property, are not just unethical, they are an attempt to weaponize the law to perpetuate injustice. But we serve a God who is the ultimate Judge, and He will not be mocked. "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). We pray that the Lord would intervene in such a way that their plans are frustrated, their threats are rendered powerless, and their hearts are softened to the point of repentance.

We also want to address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to use injustice to breed bitterness, despair, and a spirit of vengeance in your heart. But we encourage you to hold fast to the Lord, who is your Defender. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14). Do not let this situation cause you to harden your own heart or to seek revenge. Instead, entrust your case to the Lord, who says, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19). Continue to walk in integrity, even as those around you do not. "For the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off" (Psalm 37:28).

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, Lord, for the injustice that has been done to our brother/sister. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of the oppressed. We declare that You are the Righteous Judge, and we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of greed, deception, and hardness of heart that has taken root in the lives of the ###, the ###, and all those involved. We declare that their hearts are not beyond Your reach. Soften them, Lord. Break the stony ground of their hearts and replace it with flesh that is tender to Your Spirit. Let them feel the weight of their sin and the conviction of the Holy Spirit until they repent.

Father, we pray for justice in this matter. You have said in Your Word that "the wicked borrows and doesn’t pay back" (Psalm 37:21), but we ask that You would intervene so that restitution is made. Let there be a turning in their hearts to make things right, not out of compulsion, but out of genuine repentance. We ask that You would frustrate their plans to further harm our brother/sister. Let their threats be rendered powerless, and let their legal maneuvers be exposed for what they are, attempts to perpetuate injustice. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister who has endured this suffering. Strengthen them in their inner being. Let them not grow weary in doing good, even when evil seems to prevail. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them. Heal their wounds, both physical and emotional, and restore to them what has been stolen. We ask that You would provide for their needs abundantly, Lord, and that You would surround them with Your love and protection.

Father, we pray for the ### who has spoken such cruel words. We ask that You would open her eyes to the gravity of her actions. Let her see that her words have not just legal consequences, but eternal ones. Convict her of her hardness of heart, and lead her to repentance. May she come to know You as her Lord and Savior, so that she may walk in Your ways and uphold justice as You command.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who turns the hearts of kings wherever You will (Proverbs 21:1). We ask that You would turn the hearts of these individuals toward righteousness. Let them see the error of their ways and make amends. We declare that this situation will not end in defeat, but in Your glory. May Your name be praised as You bring justice, restoration, and repentance.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free, to proclaim justice to the nations, and to bind up the brokenhearted. It is in His name, and by His authority, that we pray. Amen.

We have been following your updates and our hearts are heavy with you. To experience life-threatening danger in your own home, and then to be met not with care but with contempt and legal threats, this is not merely an inconvenience but a profound violation of your dignity and safety. That the lawyer framed essential repairs as “comfort” shows a disturbing hardness, and we understand why that language has felt psychologically damaging. It would shake anyone.

Given the medical documentation and the electrician’s report you mentioned, we gently encourage you to ensure all evidence is preserved in multiple safe locations, photos, medical records, and the electrician’s documentation. While we pray for hearts to soften, you are also deserving of every legitimate protection, and having your documentation securely stored is a concrete way to stay grounded amid the chaos.

Please try not to measure your own healing by whether these individuals apologize. That desire for an apology is so understandable, yet waiting for remorse from those who have shown none can keep a wound open. Their hardness is a reflection of what is happening inside them, not a statement about your worth or what you deserved. You deserved a safe place to shower. You deserved compassion. And you still do.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this weary one to You. You see the damage to body, mind, and spirit. Please intervene and provide a just and swift resolution. Protect them from every threat, and deal directly with these hardened hearts, turn them from stone to flesh. Most of all, steady this dear person’s spirit in Your presence, a safe refuge when human systems fail. Shelter them and restore what has been lost. Amen.

It is a grievous token of hardness of heart when men can live contentedly without the present enjoyment of the fear of God, and when they can look upon the wounds of others without a pang of pity. Your landlord and those with him exhibit that Leviathan-like nature, firm as a stone, hard as a piece of the nether millstone. They have asked the electricians to falsify the report, they have seen your wounded skin and heard the medical evidence, and yet they demand fees and threaten eviction, calling that which is life-threatening a mere lack of “comfort.” Such is the deadening work of sin: it makes the conscience seared as with a hot iron, and men call evil good.

But take heed to yourself in this trial, lest you, too, fall into a snare. The judgments of God upon others, and even the wrongs we suffer, can never of themselves work an evangelical tenderness in our own souls. I have often warned that law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. If you dwell only on the cruelty of these people, your own heart may grow stony with bitterness. Instead, bring your complaint to the Lord, and then look to the meek and lowly heart of Jesus. He was reviled, yet He reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. Let His heart draw your heart, that you may not render evil for evil.

For these wayward souls, I pray that the Sovereign Grace of God may yet step in. He who has power to heal can speak to the heart of stone and make it gush forth with rivers of repentance. But mark you what true repentance is. It is not merely the remorse that comes of being found out, nor the sorrow of the world that works death. Many have a repentance after a fashion, a carnal repentance, a vomit of the dog, which leaves the heart still filthy. The repentance that is unto life is a hatred of sin, a turning from it, a loathing of it because it pierced the Lord. It is the gift of God, worked by the Holy Spirit through the preaching of Christ in His name. I entreat you to pray not only that these persons apologize and compensate you, but that they may be brought to a true knowledge of their sin against God, and that they may look on Him whom they have pierced in their treatment of His image-bearer. When they see the love of Christ in pardoning sinners, then, and then only, will their stony heart become a heart of flesh, sensitive to Divine love and tender toward their neighbor.

This fleshy heart, once given, is sensitive to the slightest touch of sin. As smoke to the eyes, so will their past cruelty become to them. I have seen the Lord take the most brazen extortioner and make him a Zacchaeus, restoring fourfold with joy. Therefore, hope on, and pray on. The Lord can turn the hearts of landlords and lawyers as He turns the rivers of water. Commit your cause to Him, and keep your own spirit sweetly grieving before the Lord, not with the bitter gall of resentment, but with the contrite brokenness that pleads for mercy on the unworthy, even as you yourself have found mercy. And remember, the truest repentance grows daily; even the saints feel themselves partially impenitent until they enter glory. So wait upon the Lord with patience, and in the midst of this fiery trial, let the knowledge of God in the heart of His dear Son be your peace.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have asked for prayer against hard hearts and for true remorse, and I will pray. But I must also tell you plainly what repentance is and what it is not, because many people feel a passing sorrow and yet remain unchanged.

No one is beyond repentance. Repentance has great force and can set free even those who have gone far into wickedness, if they are willing. But the repentance that saves is not a few tears after the deed is done. Esau sought a place of repentance with tears and did not find it, because his tears were not joined to a changed will. He still intended to kill his brother. Judas felt remorse after his sin was complete, yet instead of turning to the Lord he was driven to destroy himself. So a landlord or a lawyer may later weep or offer smooth words when the truth is exposed, but if the false report remains, the threats continue, and no restitution is made, that is not yet repentance. True repentance would confess the lie, repair the dangerous condition, stop the threat of eviction, and make right what can be made right. Zacchaeus did not only say he was sorry. He restored fourfold.

I will pray that God breaks their hardness, as you asked, not merely to punish them but to save them from the destruction their own hearts are preparing. May he take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. May his Spirit write on them, not with ink, but with the living God. The unrighteous man may appear calm, but his conscience is never fully bribed. Uneasy sleep and the recollection of guilt pursue him, even when he hides it well. Pray that this inward witness becomes for them a call to life, not a foretaste of judgment.

I will not ask God to bless their lie or to bless the false report. That would be to ask him to bless sin. I pray rather that the false report is exposed, that the life-threatening electrical system is repaired and documented truthfully, that those responsible stop blocking communication and stop threatening you, and that they make restitution. I pray for your safety and for a place to live without fear of electric shock. I pray that the lawyer who called urgent repairs "comfort" would see how distorted that word is, and that her own heart would be turned from cruelty to truth.

But I must also warn you. Do not let their hardness make you hard. It is possible to desire justice so much that bitterness takes root in you. Leave room for the judgment of God. If they continue unyielding, they are treasuring up wrath for themselves, not because God is passionate, but because they refuse his long-suffering. God called them through this very situation. He gave them a chance to see the danger, hear your medical reports, and repent. If they will not, their own deeds will bear witness against them. But that is not for you to avenge. Keep your own conscience clear, keep the truth plainly stated, and entrust yourself to him who judges justly. Use lawful means where you can, but do not return evil for evil.

So I say again before the Lord. You see the wounds and the medical reports. You see the faked report and the threats. Turn these people from their hardness. Let them not be like Esau, weeping yet still holding to wrong. Let them not be like Judas, feeling remorse only after the deed. Give them true repentance that owns the sin, stops the abuse, and restores what was taken. If they will not, protect the one who has suffered, make the truth known, and let no false report stand. But in all things, keep the injured one from hatred, and bring about your righteousness in your time. Amen.

The longer this goes on, the more the deepest need is not only an electrical repair or a payment; it is the condition of the hearts involved. You have shown photographs of your injuries, brought medical records, and obtained documentation from an electrician, yet the response has been threats, legal demands, and repeated attempts to make a life threatening danger sound like a mere desire for comfort. That is not only unjust; it reveals the very hardness you are asking God to break.

Scripture says the Lord ponders the heart. A person can have legal documents in perfect order and still be driven by greed, pride, or cruelty. That is what it means to have an idol ruling the heart. People may not bow to a carved image, but money, property, reputation, or the need to win can sit on the throne. God sees that hidden loyalty. So do not place your ultimate safety in the strength of your case or in forcing an apology. A horse is prepared for battle, but safety belongs to the Lord. The ones who trust in riches often discover that wealth has quietly hardened them. Pray that the Lord would expose and remove whatever holds these people: the love of money, the fear of losing face, the desire to control. Ask him to write his law on their hearts and to replace stone with flesh.

Keep praying for a changed heart, not only a changed outcome. God can do what no legal letter or inspection report can do. There is nothing too hard for him. He can trouble the one who is threatening you until she can no longer sleep easily. He can make the owner see that no rental income or court victory is worth treating a tenant like an enemy. Jesus looked at hardened hearts with grief and anger when people valued rules and property above the life of a suffering person. He still sees. He is not neutral. Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring strong conviction and to draw these people to Jesus. They cannot be saved against their will, but the Spirit can make their own hardness painful to them until they turn.

While you wait, guard your own heart. Long injustice can plant bitterness, and bitterness can become its own kind of idol. Do not let the desire to see them ruined become your secret comfort. Your safety is in the Lord, not in their punishment. Commit the hidden motives, the false reports, and the cold demands to him. He is the one who keeps watch over you, and there is nothing too hard for him.

Lord, you see the wounds and the records. You see the threats and the refusal to show simple human decency. Break the hardness in these people. Give them a heart of flesh. Disturb their plans until they stop hiding behind demands and begin to confess what they have done. Protect this one from further harm and from the poison of resentment. Provide a safe place to live and whatever justice you see fit. Above all, turn their hearts to you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
