Your pain and the danger you have endured have been heard with deep sorrow. To receive electric shocks while showering, to bear wounds on your skin, to have medical reports confirming this, and then to be met not with apology or help but with threats, with demands for fees, with blocking of communication and with attempts to falsify reports, is a heavy affliction. It is right that you have sought prayer, and it is right to ask God both for protection and for justice.
What you describe in these people is hardness of heart. As Scripture teaches, hardness makes the soul callous, and what is callous does not yield to the physician's hand, nor does the hardened soul yield to the word of God. From such hardness comes unbelief and a lack of feeling, so that even great wrongs do not prick the conscience. Yet the same Scriptures teach that repentance still has great force. Even one who has fallen into the depth of wickedness can be set free from the burden of sins if he will lay hold on repentance. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a repentance which brings no regret, while worldly sorrow and despair only destroy. To sin is grievous, but to despair and to refuse repentance is more grievous still, for it prevents the wound from being healed. He who hinders a wound from being healed is held to account even more than he who inflicted it.
Therefore we will pray with you, and we urge you not to give way to despair. The Lord sees affliction and delivers the righteous out of it. He is near to those who suffer unjustly, and He will bring truth to light. At the same time, learn as the poor learn to give thanks to God even in the furnace, not because the evil is good, but because thanksgiving keeps the heart meek and safe and guards you from bitterness while you wait for the Lord's deliverance. Continue also to use lawful and orderly means to protect your life and to establish the truth, keeping careful records, seeking wise counsel, and asking authorities to do what is just, for this too is part of seeking peace.
Let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.
Heavenly Father, You see all that has happened, every shock, every wound, every threat, every false report, every entry unseen, every lie spoken. You know hearts and intentions. We ask You to have mercy and to act. Grant to this landlord, to the contact person, to the owner and the team, and to the lawyer who called danger by the name of comfort, the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom. Break the hardness and take away the heart of stone, and give a heart of flesh that can feel godly sorrow. Grant them repentance unto salvation, that they would confess what is true, apologize with sincerity, take responsibility, and make just restitution with respect. Expose whatever has been hidden, whether any tampering with the electrical system or the heating or the safety devices, and let truth be clearly seen by all residents and by those in authority. Protect Your child who has suffered, heal the body, quiet the mind that has been troubled by accusations and by being followed and falsely reported to the police, and guard this life from further harm. Let Your Spirit help in prayer where words are weary, and let no one hinder the healing of this wound. Turn this situation toward what is right and safe, restrain further threats and eviction without cause, and bring forth justice with mercy.
We ask that You keep this soul from despair, and form Christ more fully within, and grant endurance, wisdom, and peace that passes understanding until You deliver fully. Your will be done, Father, on earth as it is in heaven.
Amen.
