🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Use The Bible 📖, Messages from Pulpit, Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel, Prov 11:14, Visions, Acts 2:17⚡️Dreams 💤 Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9, Leading of Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, The Shepherd's Voice, John 10:27, Signs in The Heavens, Gen 1:14, Matt 2:2, Num 24:17, Signs of The Times, Matt 16:3, 1 Chron 12:32, BEFORE The Sign of The Son of Man, Matt 24:30...

Father, we look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34. We agree with this husband, for his wife, children, family -- speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times: Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, Paul, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27.

Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your promise of incomprehensible peace, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20... Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

We join you in this earnest cry and we thank you for lifting up this husband, his wife, their children and family before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord would use every biblical means to make His will known and to draw them ever closer to Christ.

We love your heart to say Father we look to You and Your Word rather than to the noise and pollution of the world, for that is exactly what God calls us to. To the law and to the testimony, if they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them, Isaiah 8:20. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path, Psalm 119:105. We agree that the Scriptures are God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, 2 Timothy 3:16-17. This is our sure foundation, and every other supposed leading, dream, vision, sermon, counsel or sign must be tested against it, for we are told to test the spirits, whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1 and to test all things and hold firmly that which is good, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

We rejoice that you have anchored your prayer in the finished work of Jesus, for He is able also to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them, Hebrews 7:25, and that Christ Jesus is he who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us, Romans 8:34. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We are grateful you have prayed so clearly in Jesus name, the Amen and the Faithful Witness, Revelation 3:14, for in Him all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20.

We agree with you that God is sovereign and able, you have reminded us that we know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained, Job 42:2, that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, John 1:5, and that with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27, for nothing spoken by God is impossible, Luke 1:37. His hand is not shortened that it cannot save, Isaiah 59:1, and His arm is not too short, Numbers 11:23. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, Hebrews 13:8, and He has indeed spoken in dreams and visions in times past to Joseph, Matthew 1:20, to the magi, Matthew 2:12, to Abimelech, Genesis 20:3, to Laban, Genesis 31:24, to Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel 2:1, Daniel 4:5, and to Paul, Acts 16:9. And Joel did prophesy and Peter did repeat that it will be in the last days that God said I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams, Acts 2:17, Joel 2:28.

Yet we also gently encourage discernment here, for while God can use sermons, godly counsel where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory, Proverbs 11:14, divine appointments, the Shepherd's voice My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27, and the leading of the Spirit for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Romans 8:14, and He will guide you into all truth, John 16:13, we must not seek extraordinary signs as a higher authority than Scripture nor pursue visions or heavenly signs in a way that resembles divination or astrology which God forbids. God did set lights in the expanse of sky for signs and for seasons, Genesis 1:14, and He did use a star to point to Christ, Matthew 2:2, Numbers 24:17, yet He calls us to walk by faith in His Word and not by chasing signs, and to be as those who understand the times, 1 Chronicles 12:32, without being deceived, for Jesus warned See that no one leads you astray, Matthew 24:4, and reminded us that an evil generation seeks after a sign. We will keep our eyes fixed on Jesus rather than on speculations about the sign of the Son of Man, Matthew 24:30, trusting that when He comes every eye will see Him.

So we pray together with you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You that You live to intercede for us and that You desire to make Your will known to Your children. We ask that You would speak clearly to this husband, his wife, their children and their household through Your holy Word first and foremost. Open their eyes to behold wonderful things out of Your law, give them hunger to read, study and obey it daily, and grant them pastors and friends who speak truth in love. Where You in Your wisdom choose to use a sermon, a godly counselor, a divine appointment, a dream as You did in Job 33:14-16, or the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit, we ask that You would give them discernment to test all things against Scripture and to hold fast to what is good. Pour out Your Spirit upon them, keep them from temptation, from evil, from deception and from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and deliver them from every fear and lie, for You are faithful, who will establish and guard us from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We ask that You would keep their marriage and family strong in holiness and unity, that their home would be built on Christ and that their children would be taught to love You with all their heart. Guard their churches, their pastors and their leaders in government, that they would walk in truth and righteousness. We bring every request before You with thanksgiving, as You command In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive, Mark 11:24, for without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, Hebrews 11:6.

We pray that You would keep them abiding in Christ, bearing much fruit, hearing the Shepherd's voice and following Him alone, and that Your light would shine brighter in their lives so that darkness cannot overcome it. Do all this for Your glory and for their joy, in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how much you love your wife, your children and your family, and how deeply you want the Lord's clear direction and keeping for each of them. That hunger to hear Him in everyday life and in unexpected ways is a beautiful place to pray from.

We join you in asking Him to make His will known and to guard your home from confusion, temptation and fear. We have found that God delights to guide His people, and He often does it most steadily as we stay rooted in His Word, keep bringing honest prayers before Him, and share what we sense with trusted, godly counsel around us. A sermon, a conversation with a friend or pastor, a quiet impression in prayer, even a dream that stays with you, can be part of how He encourages or redirects us, and bringing those things together before Him and with others helps us weigh them with peace rather than pressure.

It may help in this season to keep a simple rhythm together as a family, a regular time to pray aloud for one another, to note what you believe the Lord is showing you, and to talk it through with a pastor you trust. That shared listening often brings clarity and keeps you united.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife and children to You. Draw each of them closer to Jesus, give them wisdom to recognize Your voice, protect them from evil and fill their home with Your peace. Lead them step by step as they seek You together. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing to see your wife, your children and your household kept in the grace of Christ is itself a work of the Spirit, and it is right to bring it before the throne where Jesus lives to make intercession for us, Hebrews 7:25.

You ask that the Lord would speak by every means, by dreams and visions and signs in the heavens. Hear what the Word says, To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them, Isaiah 8:20. God is able to do all things and no purpose of His can be thwarted, Job 42:2, His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, Isaiah 59:1, yet His appointed way of speaking to His people now is by His Son. On the holy mount the Father said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear ye Him. The voice out of the cloud would but dismay and distract, the voice of Christ would cheer and comfort. Oh, to be content with hearing Christ and letting other voices go away into eternal silence. Is He God's Son, then hear Him. Is He God's beloved Son, then hear Him.

Do not seek after voices and miracles as though the Scriptures were not enough. You will be cured of desiring such things if you consider how those who heard the excellent glory were sore afraid and fell on their faces. What we need is not a new vision, but to hear what Christ has already spoken in the Bible, in the faithful preaching of the pulpit, and by the Holy Spirit applying that Word to the heart. The Shepherd's voice, John 10:27, is heard when we hear His Word and follow Him. Romans 8:14 teaches that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God, and that leading is never contrary to the written Word and always leads toward holiness, repentance and faith in Christ alone.

Therefore let your prayers be anchored not in signs but in Christ. The goodness of God is not meant to encourage us to continue as we are, but to woo and win us away from sin and to lead us to repentance, Romans 2:4. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His blood and righteousness. Marriage is His good ordinance, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to the home is to be kept within that holy bond in purity and faithfulness. Bring your wife and children there, to the Cross where the Son of God hung in mortal flesh, and to the empty tomb where He lives and reigns.

Pray, and pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, but not in the mill horse way, round and round in form without heart. True prayer knocks and seeks until it gets a real answer, and it comes with thanksgiving to make requests known to God, that the peace which passes understanding may keep heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6 and 7. When fear palsies the soul, lay hold upon the Strong One and get strength from Him, so that fear is cast out. Commit your way, your trade, your family trials, your temptations to Him who with the temptation will make a way of escape.

So I pray with you, Father, keep this husband, his wife, their children, and their household from temptation and from the evil one, John 17:15, Matthew 6:13, guard them from lies and deception and every evil way, establish them in Thy Word, cause them to hear Christ and to follow Him, grant repentance where it is needed and faith to rest wholly upon Christ, and let Thy incomprehensible peace rule in their hearts. We ask not for wonders to gratify curiosity, but for grace to hear, believe and obey what Thou hast already said in Thy Son. In Jesus Christ, in whom all the promises of God are Yea and Amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20. Amen.
