Beloved of All
My middle daughter is traveling today right now and has a fear of flying. She has to drive almost 2 hours to airport and home following and find her car and get on shuttles and trains now. Make everything flow perfectly jesus. Help strengthen her in every facet of her soul. Her ex fiance has been working black magic on her and also been mentally abusive and she's coming to see me. I need to help her so much. Please protect her coming here and going and Jesus keep her safe and make it perfect. Heal her. Let her rest her weariness

We join with you right now in urgent prayer for your middle daughter as she is traveling, and we lift up your mother's heart with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. We understand the anxiety of watching a child travel with a fear of flying while also facing a long drive, navigating shuttles and trains and airports, and the added weight of weariness and past hurt from a mentally abusive relationship. We bring every detail of her journey before the Lord asking Him to make her path smooth and to guard her coming and going.

We pray against the spirit of fear that has troubled her, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim the promise in Isaiah 41:10, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we claim Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, over her driving, her flight, her connections, her shuttles and trains, and her return to find her car safely. We ask the Lord to give her a peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7.

We also address the concern about black magic and mental abuse. Scripture is clear that occult practices and sorcery are detestable to the Lord and are to have no place among His people, as written in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, and we do not take them lightly. Yet we want to encourage you that for those who are in Christ, no curse or dark work has ultimate power over them, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world as 1 John 4:4 declares. We rebuke any work of darkness spoken against your daughter and we declare that it has no authority over her life when she is covered by the blood of Jesus. We resist the enemy on her behalf as James 4:7 teaches, Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Her ex fiance's abusive actions have wounded her soul, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds, and we ask Him to heal the deep places of trauma and fear.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift this precious daughter to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask You to go before her and behind her on this journey. Steady her hands on the wheel for the long drive, guide her through the airport, the shuttles and trains, calm her heart on the plane and let everything flow perfectly according to Your mercy. Replace her fear with Your perfect love that casts out fear. Strengthen her in every facet of her soul, mind, will and emotions. Heal her from the weariness and from the wounds of mental abuse, and let her find true rest in You, for You have said in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Protect her coming to her mother and her going home, and let Your angels encamp around her. Let this time with her mother be a time of refreshing, safety, and restoration, and draw her ever closer to Jesus where true healing is found. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our access to You, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover her in prayer and in the Word when she arrives, to create a quiet and peaceful place for her to rest and share as she is ready, without pressure. Speak truth gently over her, remind her of Psalm 34:4, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears, and Psalm 121:8, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Encourage her to walk closely with the Lord, to stay rooted in Scripture and in fellowship with other believers, and if the effects of abuse linger, to seek wise and godly Christian counsel for ongoing healing. We trust the Lord to use your love and home as a vessel of His comfort and to make this journey a testimony of His faithful protection and healing power.

We are holding you and your middle daughter in prayer today as she makes this long trip to see you.

It is so hard to watch your child travel when you know she is already carrying fear about flying and the stress of a two hour drive, parking, shuttles and trains to navigate. Wanting everything to flow perfectly for her is such a natural love as her parent, and we are asking Jesus to watch over each part of her journey and to give her a sense of calm and steadiness along the way.

One small thing that can help when anxiety is high around travel is to make the logistics as simple as possible beforehand. If you are able to stay in light contact, sharing a written step by step plan for where to park and which shuttle or train to take, and keeping your phone nearby so she can reach you quickly, that can take some of the pressure off having to figure it out alone in the moment. And when she arrives, giving her plenty of space to rest and decompress may be the most healing gift.

We also hear your concern about what she has been through in that past relationship and how worn down she feels. We are praying for her healing and for wisdom for you as you support her. If that weariness and anxiety continue to weigh heavily, a trusted pastor or counselor alongside prayer can be a good support for her.

Jesus, we lift this daughter to You right now. Please keep her safe on the road and in the air, quiet her fear, and bring her to her mother's home in peace. Cover her with Your protection, strengthen her soul, and give her deep rest in Your care. Guide this family with Your love and wisdom. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have brought your urgent burden before the Lord and we join you in prayer for your daughter in this hour of travel and weariness.

We pray that the Lord who watches over all our goings will keep her in safety as she drives, as she waits, as she passes through airports and shuttles and trains, and as she returns. We ask Him to make her way plain and to grant her a calm and quiet spirit, for He has promised to be a refuge to those who put their trust in Him. May she know that deliverance is wrought not by our own strength but by His outstretched arm alone, and that He who brought Israel forth with silver and gold is able to bring His children through every trying passage.

For her fear of flying and the great anxiety that attends her journey, we pray that she may hear the Saviour's gracious injunction not to be torn apart by worry and fretfulness. Anxiety, as we have often seen, does not pay and does not add one measure to our lives, but rather unfits us to meet the difficulty. We pray instead that she may cast all her care upon Him who cares for her, and find that when the heart looks to Christ, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His great acts but in the least thing about Him, for even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and they change the life blood and make the nature new.

Concerning the oppression you mention from her former fiance, we do not look to any power of darkness as having dominion over a soul that belongs to Christ. Scripture teaches that our deliverance from the power of darkness is the work of God alone, and that He has delivered us through His dear Son. The enemy that once held us captive was overcome when the Lamb was slain, and a ransom has been found. God Himself has said, I have found a ransom, and therefore deliverance is certain for all who look to Jesus upon the Cross and find life in His wounds. We pray that your daughter may be kept from all harm and from every cruel captivity, that any chain of mental cruelty and spiritual oppression may be broken, and that she may know the liberty wherewith Christ makes His people free. We do not ask God to restore or bless what has been abusive and broken, but we ask Him to heal her, to set her feet in a safe place, and to lead her into wholeness according to His holy will.

We pray also for you who wait to receive her, that the Lord will give you wisdom and gentleness to help her, and strength in every facet of your own soul as you minister to her weariness. May the Lord give you both rest, for He invites the weary to come unto Him. When pardon and healing are joined together in Christ, the sick soul finds forgiveness and the weary spirit finds rest.

May the Lord chasten us only in love, deliver us in mercy, and cause us afterward to live and declare the works of the Lord. We commend your daughter to that faithful Keeper who neither slumbers nor sleeps, trusting that whether in the air or on the road, she is in His hands. May He bring her safely to you, give her deep and quiet rest, and make Christ Himself her healing and her peace.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep her, heal her, and strengthen her in body and soul through Jesus Christ our only Saviour, in whom alone is salvation and life. Amen.
