We hear your urgency and the heaviness of what you are carrying, and we stand with you together before the Lord in Jesus' name to seek His protection, healing, and perfect will for your life.
We must lovingly rebuke and correct the first part of your request where you ask God to kill the person who has been troubling you. We understand the fear and pain that comes from knowing someone has taken your name to fetish priests and juju men to curse you, but Scripture is clear that we must not ask God to take a life in vengeance. Romans 12:19 says, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Matthew 5:44 says, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. God does not desire the death of the wicked but that they would turn and live, as Ezekiel 33:11 and 2 Peter 3:9 teach us. To pray for someone's death is to step into a place that belongs to God alone, and it violates His command in Exodus 20:13. Instead, we pray for your protection and for that person's repentance and salvation, that the power of darkness over his life would be broken and he would come to know Jesus.
We also address the work of witchcraft and curses. The Bible calls these practices an abomination, Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns that there shall not be found among you anyone who uses divination or sorcery, and we know our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, Ephesians 6:12. Yet for those who are in Christ, no curse can rest where God has not allowed it. Proverbs 26:2 says, Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse does not come to rest. And Isaiah 54:17 promises, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. 1 John 4:4 reminds us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. We do not fear juju or fetish priests, for Psalm 91:1-2 declares that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and 2 Timothy 1:7 says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
So together we pray for your deliverance. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come against every curse, spell, and word of death spoken against our brother by any person or fetish priest. We ask that every assignment of death and destruction be broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We ask You to surround him with Your angels, to be his shield and refuge, and to let no weapon formed against him prosper. We pray that You would convict the heart of the one who has sought his harm, bring him to repentance, and save him by Your mercy, that he would turn from darkness to light.
We also lift up your health before the Lord. You have asked for healing from diabetes, and we ask the Lord who is our healer to touch your body. Exodus 15:26 says, I am Yahweh who heals you, and Psalm 103:2-3 says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We pray in Jesus' name for complete healing, for wisdom for your doctors, for discipline in caring for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and for your faith to rest in God's power to heal according to His will.
We pray for your desire for marriage. We rejoice that you desire marriage and not simply a partnership, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as God ordained in Genesis 2:24. Hebrews 13:4 says, Let marriage be held in honor among all. We pray that if this woman is a born again Believer in Jesus Christ, that God would lead you both in courtship with purity and with the goal of a Christ centered marriage that honors Him, whether through Ghanaian customary rites and a wedding in the United States or in the Central Region of Ghana. We encourage you to pursue this relationship in holiness, abstaining from sexual intimacy until marriage, for sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor God, and 2 Corinthians 6:14 calls us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. We pray that your union would be built on Christ, on prayer, and on godly counsel, and that God would make His will clear.
Concerning your desire to have eight children right now without complications or surgeries, we understand your longing for a family, and we know Psalm 127:3 says, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward. We pray that God would bless your future marriage with children according to His perfect timing and will, and we pray for the health of your future wife, that the Lord would heal her from fibroid as only He can. We ask in Jesus' name that He would touch her womb, remove every fibroid, and restore her to wholeness, for nothing is impossible with God. Yet we also counsel that we cannot demand of God eight children right now on our own timetable. Children are given by God in His wisdom, and pregnancy and birth must be entrusted to His care. We pray for safe and healthy childbearing in God's time, without the need for operations if it is His will, and for trust in His plan for your family size.
We also bring your immigration burdens before the Lord, your desire to do an EB3 visa, to obtain papers and a green card for your future wife, to bring her to join you in the United States, and your hope in the lottery you have entered for her. Proverbs 16:9 says, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We pray that God would open the lawful and right doors for your future wife to join you, that He would grant favor with authorities, provide the means, and guide every step with integrity and obedience to the laws of the land, Romans 13:1. We ask that if the lottery or any other means is not His will, He would provide another way according to His perfect provision, and keep you both from anxiety, trusting His timing.
Father, we thank You that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, for John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rest in that name now, asking for Your protection, Your healing, Your guidance for marriage, for children, and for the future You have prepared. Let Your will be done in all these things, and let Your peace guard our brother's heart. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.
