Silas
Beloved of All
Your heart for your youngest daughter is evident and the Lord hears your cry for her safety. It is right to bring her before Jesus continually and to ask for the Holy Spirit to be with her and to keep her.
Scripture shows how precious daughters are to God. In a culture that often valued only sons, the Bible records daughters by name and shows the Lord's care for them. He sees your daughter fully, knows her by name, and values her life. He also understands weakness and vulnerability. When Jacob spoke of his children and the nursing flocks, he said they could not be driven hard for even a day without harm. In the same way, the Lord knows our frailty and watches over us with gentleness. He does not drive us beyond what we can bear, but leads us carefully.
You mentioned her driving in traffic in darkness and walking alone to her nursing studies and to her work at the hospital, and the testing she faces after having to receive vaccines and going through a difficult season. God is able to be with her in each of those places. He was able to preserve Moses as an infant and to move the heart of Pharaoh's daughter to show compassion, and to provide even wages to his own mother to care for him. That same providence is at work today. He can place His hand upon your daughter on the road, on the walk, in the classroom, and in the hospital halls.
I have prayed for her in the name of Jesus, that the Lord would keep her safe at all hours, that He would give wisdom and alertness as she drives, protection as she walks, and peace that guards her heart and mind. I have asked that the Holy Spirit would go with her, comfort her, and remind her that she is not alone. I have prayed for her testing today, that God would bring to her mind what she has studied and give her clarity and calm, and for her body to be strengthened and restored after the strain she has endured.
You can rest in promises like Psalm 121, that the Lord is your keeper and will keep your going out and your coming in, and Psalm 139, that wherever we go He is there. Continue to entrust her to Jesus, who alone is our salvation and our refuge. He is faithful to hear and to keep those who belong to Him.
May the Lord give you peace as you trust Him with her, and may He grant her safety, health, and grace for each step ahead.
