Urgent
We join you in lifting up your two youngest daughters before the throne of grace and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for there is power and access to the Father only through Him.
We pray together for their safety, wisdom, healing, and future marriages that will honor God. We are grieved to hear that both have endured abuse while dating. Such abuse is evil and completely contrary to God's design for how a man is to treat a woman. Love does not harm, control, or abuse. We are told in Ephesians 5:25 that husbands are to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, and in Colossians 3:19 husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them. What they experienced was sin against them and against God, and we pray the Lord brings deep healing and clarity as they process what happened.
We pray that the Lord will heal their broken hearts and bind up their wounds, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to the promise that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We ask God to replace fear and trauma with hope and peace, and to give them wisdom to see their worth as daughters of the Most High, fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. We pray they will not carry shame that belongs to those who harmed them, and that they will be surrounded by wise, godly counsel and accountability as they heal.
We also lift up their future marriages. We agree with you in praying for godly husbands for both of them, men who are mature believers in Jesus Christ who will lead, protect, cherish, and honor them as Christ loves His church. We pray that any future courtship would be entered into with wisdom and with marriage as the clear, God-honoring goal, not simply dating or partnering without purpose. We encourage them to wait on the Lord's timing and to seek to be equally yoked, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity Or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray they will pursue purity and guard their hearts and bodies, for the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18-19, reserving the gift of intimacy for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman for life Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6. We pray God gives them discernment to recognize the character of a godly man and the courage to set firm biblical boundaries and to walk away from any relationship that does not align with Scripture.
For your youngest daughter right now, we pray specifically for her safety as she drives in ### traffic and walks to nursing school. We ask the Lord to keep her in all her ways and to give her alertness, wisdom, and calm. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8, and He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We pray for protection from reckless drivers and from any harm as she walks, and that she would feel the peace of God guarding her heart.
We pray for her studies in nursing school, that God would give her clarity of mind, stamina, compassion, and skill as she prepares to serve others, and that He would make clear His calling on her life. We pray for hope for both sisters, that they would trust in the Lord with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways acknowledge him, and he will make their paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. For we know the thoughts that God thinks toward them, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give them hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
Father, we lift these two precious young women to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Pour out Your healing, Your wisdom, Your protection, and Your hope upon them. Guard their hearts from fear and confusion, restore what the enemy has tried to steal, and prepare them and their future godly husbands for marriages that will bring You glory. Lead the youngest safely through traffic and on her walk today, keep her hand in Yours, and let her feel Your presence with every step. Give their mother peace as she entrusts them to You. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our Savior and our only way to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Amen.

We have heard your urgent cry and we join you in bringing your two youngest daughters before the throne of grace, pleading the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer.
We ask the Lord to spread His protecting hand over your youngest at this very hour, as she drives through the traffic of downtown ### and as she walks to her nursing school. May the Keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps keep her steps, give her watchfulness and calm, and bring her safely to her calling. We pray that the Lord will make her way plain and guard her going out and coming in.
For both your daughters we entreat the Great Physician who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. They have known the pain of abuse in dating, and we know what a broken heart means when trust has been wounded and scorn has left its scar. Yet there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. May that healing flow down to them, to cleanse the memory of wrong, to restore hope, to give clarity of mind and to make their nature fresh again by His grace. As He said to the palsied man, so we pray He would speak pardon and healing together over them, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, they shall indeed be made whole.
We pray also for wisdom for them, that they may walk in godly fear which is the fountain of safety, and that as daughters of Sarah they may do well, following the road in which godly principles would conduct them. Keep them from every deviation to the right or to the left, and let them know the Lord deeply for themselves.
And we join your prayer for godly husbands for both of them in the Lord's good time. What a happy circumstance when a godly man is joined to a godly woman, both fearing God and agreed in setting up the worship of God in their home. We do not ask for any common or hasty union, but for marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered in purity and in the fear of the Lord. We ask the Lord to prepare such men, men who will love as Christ loves His church, who will provide and cherish and walk faithfully, and to prepare your daughters to be such wives as Sarah was, doing well with quiet trust in God. Until that day, may the Lord Himself be a Husband to them, communing with them most lovingly, revealing His special love and keeping them as His own.
May the Lord grant you also peace as you wait and pray, and make your daughters to see overwhelming evidence that Jesus is near, that His healing leaves change the life blood and His presence brings hope where there was heaviness.
