I'm so upset about the state of the world and am getting depressed about many things. I feel sick also. I'm an ### and I am not selling. Please help people be drawn to my work. I need financial blessings. My fiance is out of state for work and I haven't seen him in so long. I'm worried about him and my 3 grown daughters. Keep us safe 24/7

We hear your distress, and our hearts ache with yours as you carry the weight of the world’s troubles, financial strain, separation from your fiancé, and concern for your daughters. The pain you feel is real, and we want you to know that you are not alone, God sees every tear, hears every sigh, and holds your burdens close to His heart. The world is indeed groaning under the weight of sin, and it is natural to feel overwhelmed when we see so much brokenness. But we must remember that our hope is not in this world, but in the One who has already overcome it.

First, let us address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.

Now, regarding your relationship, we must gently but firmly address the term "fiancé." If you are not yet married, Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, which grieves the heart of God. The Bible calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to honor God with our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We strongly encourage you to either pursue marriage without delay or, if that is not possible at this time, to commit to purity in your relationship until you can be united in holy matrimony. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If your fiancé is a believer, we pray that you both would seek God’s will together, honoring Him in your relationship.

We also lift up your concern for your daughters. As mothers, our hearts are bound to our children, and it is natural to worry for their safety and well-being. But we must remember that God loves them even more than we do, and His plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that they would each walk closely with the Lord, seeking His wisdom and protection in all things. May they be surrounded by godly influences and may their hearts be drawn to the truth of God’s Word.

Your financial struggles are not hidden from the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also examine our hearts and ensure that we are seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Are you tithing faithfully? Are you stewarding what He has already given you with wisdom? Are you trusting Him to open doors for your work, or are you relying on your own efforts? We encourage you to bring your financial needs before the Lord with a heart of surrender, asking Him to provide in ways that glorify Him.

For your physical sickness, we pray for healing and comfort. The Bible tells us that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over you today. May the Lord strengthen your body, calm your mind, and restore your spirit. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel if this illness persists, as the Lord often works through the hands of His people.

Lastly, for the state of the world, we must remember that these are the birth pains of a world longing for redemption (Romans 8:22-23). Jesus warned us that in the last days, there would be wars, rumors of wars, and great distress (Matthew 24:6-7), but He also told us to take heart, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Our hope is not in governments, leaders, or systems, but in the King who is coming again to make all things new. Until then, we are called to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16), sharing the hope of the gospel with those around us.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is carrying heavy burdens. Lord, You see her heart, her fears, her worries, her physical pain, and her financial needs. We ask that You would draw near to her and remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we rebuke the spirit of depression and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm her, and we declare that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we pray for her relationship with her fiancé. If it is Your will, we ask that You would bring them together soon in marriage, that they may honor You as one flesh. If they are not yet ready for that commitment, we pray that You would guard their hearts and bodies, keeping them pure until the day they can stand before You in holy matrimony. Help them to seek You first in all things and to build their relationship on the foundation of Your Word.

For her daughters, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them walk in the light of Your truth. May they know the depth of Your love for them and the plans You have for their lives.

Father, we bring her financial needs before You. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would open doors for her work and bless the labor of her hands. Teach her to trust in You and not in her own efforts, and help her to be a faithful steward of all that You entrust to her. Provide for her needs in ways that only You can, and let her see Your hand at work in her life.

For her physical health, we ask for Your healing touch. Strengthen her body, Lord, and restore her to full health. Give her wisdom in caring for herself and seeking the help she needs. May she find comfort in Your presence and peace in Your promises.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would renew her hope in the midst of a broken world. Remind her that this is not her home, and that one day, You will wipe away every tear and make all things new (Revelation 21:4). Until then, help her to be a light in the darkness, sharing the hope of the gospel with those around her.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your children. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, dear sister. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of despair, but God has called you to a life of victory in Christ. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with godly community, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, and we are sorry you are carrying so much at once. When worry about the world, financial strain, missing your fiance, and concern for your daughters all pile up, it makes sense that your body is feeling it too. We would gently encourage you to see a doctor about the sick feeling and the depression. Sometimes our physical symptoms and emotional weight feed each other, and a doctor can help steady both. For your work, it may also help to ask one or two trusted people to pray with you and help you think through one practical next step, so you are not sorting through all of it alone.

Father, we lift up this woman to You. Please steady her heart and mind, and bring relief to her body. Provide for her financial needs in the way You know is best, and open doors for her work that honor You. Watch over her fiance and her three daughters, and keep them safe day and night. Give her wisdom and peace in the waiting, and help her to rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

The state of the world is a heavy burden for any soul that tries to carry it, and you have added to it the cares of trade, sickness, loneliness, and a mother’s fear. Our Savior’s word to you is not to be undone by these outward things. Be prudent; be diligent in your work and upright in your dealings; but do not let the lack of buyers eat into your soul. I have never found that anxiety brought grist to the mill, or meal to the barrel, or one honest purchaser to the door. It only unfits you to meet the difficulty when God sends an opening. I will ask the Lord to draw people to your work and to supply your need, but I will ask even more that He would keep your heart from making temporal supply its chief confidence.

Your sickness and heaviness of spirit I will lay before the Great Physician. There is no disease He cannot heal, and no depression of soul beyond His pity. If He delays bodily relief, it may be that He is dealing with the deeper malady. The sickness Christ cures for eternity is the only one from which there is no relapse. Cry to Him, not merely for a well body and a full purse, but for a soul made sound in Him.

As for your betrothed and your three grown daughters, prayer is your first work. Fretfulness cannot guard them for a single hour; the Lord can keep them through every hour of the day and night. Commend them by name to Him, and do it daily. You cannot carry them to heaven by anxiety, but you may be, by faith, the means of bringing them within the ark. Noah did not preserve his household by wringing his hands over the flood; he entered the ark, and his family with him. Make your own shelter sure in Christ, and let family prayer be restored or strengthened under your roof. Family prayer is the nutriment of family piety, and where it is neglected, the house is left with its windows open to the world.

I join you in praying for their safety, but I pray most that they may be safe in Christ. Temporal protection is a mercy; eternal salvation is the necessity. Ask for daily bread and for guarded days, yet ask more that your whole household may be found among the one family in heaven and on earth.

Bring the Lord your empty store, your lonely heart, your sick frame, and these dear ones, but bring them upon the arms of faith, not in the chains of complaint. He has not forgotten you. The very things that now seem against you may be the school in which He teaches you to trust Him and to seek first His kingdom.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and I am praying for you before the Lord in this heavy season.

I hear how burdened you feel by the state of the world, and how depression and sickness are weighing on you. God sees your distress and He invites you to cast your cares on Him. I am asking Him to give you His peace which passes understanding, to comfort your heart, to bring rest to your mind, and to touch your body with healing and strength. If these feelings of depression continue, please also reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical provider near you so you are not carrying this alone.

For your financial need and your work, I am praying that God will provide for your daily needs according to His riches and wisdom. Scripture teaches that our talents and labor are gifts to be used for the common good and for His glory, and that He sustains us not by asking Him to bless every path we choose, but by leading us into work that is honest, fruitful, and honoring to Him. So I am not asking God to simply draw people to whatever brings income, but I am asking Him to guide you to good work that honors Him, to open doors for provision that is consistent with His word, and to give you wisdom and diligence as you steward what He has placed in your hands.

For your fiance who is out of state and for your three grown daughters, I am praying for their safety and for yours, that the Lord would keep you and guard you day and night. I am also praying for your relationship with your fiance. God designed marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He designed sexual intimacy and living together to belong within that covenant. I pray He will give you both grace to honor Him in this engagement, to pursue purity and faithfulness, and to build your future marriage on commitment to Christ and to one another.

Above all, I am praying that you would know the fullness of grace that comes only through Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we receive forgiveness, adoption, and true rest for our souls. The rest He offers is deeper than the rest of a day or a place. It is rest for the weary heart that comes from trusting His finished work. I pray you will receive grace upon grace from His fullness, that your hope would be anchored not in changing circumstances or financial blessings, but in His steadfast love.

May the Lord draw you closer to Himself, supply what you need, heal what is sick, calm what is anxious, and keep you and your loved ones in His care.
