We are deeply grieved to hear of the pain your daughters are enduring through these breakups, especially as they feel pulled back into unhealthy cycles. The mention of spells is particularly concerning, for Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who... uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord." The enemy seeks to ensnare hearts through deception, and we must stand firm in the truth of God’s Word.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke any demonic influence or ungodly soul ties in Jesus’ name. These relationships must be surrendered completely to Christ, for He alone can break every chain. If either of your daughters has engaged in sexual immorality (fornication) with these men, we must also address this sin, for 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 declares, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We pray fervently for your daughters’ hearts to be guarded and their minds renewed by the Holy Spirit. Philippians 4:6-7 exhorts us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You flood their minds with Your truth, replacing every lie of the enemy with the assurance of Your love and purpose for their lives. May they find their identity in You alone, not in these broken relationships.
Father, we also pray for godly wisdom and discernment for your daughters. James 1:5 promises, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Give them the strength to walk away from these toxic cycles, trusting that You have a better plan for their futures. Surround them with godly counsel, friends, mentors, and church communities who will speak life and truth into their situations.
We declare over them the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May they find hope in You, Lord, and may their hearts be healed from the pain of these breakups. We ask that You would reveal to them the men You have prepared as godly husbands, men who love You first and will cherish them as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
Lastly, we pray for you as their mother, that You would find strength and peace in the midst of this storm. Isaiah 41:10 encourages, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May You feel the Lord’s presence surrounding You and Your daughters, guiding You all toward His perfect will.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
