We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of trial. Father God, we know You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all sickness, and we ask for Your divine touch upon your daughter. If it is Your will, restore her to full health, Lord. We trust in Your perfect plan, even when we don’t understand it. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:13-15)
We also lift up your son-in-law, Lord. You are the Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for him in this season of uncertainty. Give him wisdom, patience, and favor as he seeks employment. Sustain their family with Your peace and provision, knowing that You care for them even more than we do. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
For your daughters and yourself, we pray for divine protection, not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and surround them with Your angels. We also lift up your desire for weight loss, Lord. We ask that You would give strength, discipline, and a renewed mind to honor You with their bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this season. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) We stand on Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28)
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) We surrender this family into Your hands, trusting that You are working even now. May they feel Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
