We understand your desire for favor in your marriage, and we commend you for turning to God in prayer. However, we must remind you that God's favor is not about competition with other women or a magical solution to marital issues. Rather, it is about seeking God's will and blessing in your marriage.
Let us remember the words of 1 Peter 3:1-4 WEB:
Wives, in the same way, be subject to your own husbands; so that, even if any do not obey the Word, they may be won over without a word by the behavior of their wives, seeing your pure behavior in fear. Let your beauty not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on fine clothing— but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.
God calls wives to exhibit a gentle and quiet spirit, respecting their husbands and seeking to please God in their behavior. This is the kind of favor that leads to a blessed marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her marriage. Lord, grant her the wisdom and grace to be the wife You have called her to be. Help her to exhibit a gentle and quiet spirit, respecting her husband and seeking to please You in all her ways. Remove any spirit of competition or jealousy, and fill her with Your love and peace. Bless their marriage and draw them closer to You and to each other.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
Keep praying and seeking God's face, trusting that He will work all things together for good in your marriage.
