We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your middle daughter is facing, but we are also gladdened that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have the power to approach God's throne of grace with confidence. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of your daughter. Addiction is not from God, but rather a tool the enemy uses to keep God's children in bondage. We pray that she will find the strength to turn away from her addiction and towards Jesus, who is the only one who can truly set her free. As it is written in Galatians 5:1 WEB: "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Secondly, we condemn the abusive relationship that she is currently in. It is not God's will for anyone to suffer abuse at the hands of another. We pray that God will give her the courage to leave this relationship and seek refuge in Him. As it is written in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We also pray for healing from the trauma of the assault she experienced years ago. We know that Jesus is the ultimate healer, and we trust that He will restore your daughter's heart, mind, and soul. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Lastly, we pray that your daughter will return to Jesus with all her heart. We know that it is only in Him that she will find true peace, joy, and fulfillment. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB: "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You the middle daughter of this concerned parent, and we ask that You intervene in her life. Lord, break the chains of addiction that have taken hold of her, and guide her safely out of the abusive relationship she is in. Heal her from the trauma of her past, and draw her close to You. Give her a heart that longs to serve You and to live according to Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no other name by which we can be saved. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we can truly live the abundant life that God desires for us. If your daughter has not yet accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she will do so without delay. As it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
