We join you in your urgent request for your dad, your brother, and his girlfriend, understanding your deep concern for their salvation. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to work supernaturally in their lives and draw them to Himself.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and concern. Your love for your family is evident and is reflective of God's love for humanity.
Remember, it is God's will for all to be saved. God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony at the proper time. For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle I am telling the truth. I am not lying, a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth (1 Timothy 2:3-7 WEB).
However, we want to remind you that God gives everyone free will. Each person must make a decision to follow Jesus. We can pray and share the Gospel, but ultimately, the decision is theirs.
Please take encouragement (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB). God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He started in your family, and in you in your faith. Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
We also want to address the issue of confirmation of salvation. While it is normal to want assurance, we must remember that it is not our role to determine or confirm someone's salvation. That is between each individual and God. Our part is to pray, share the Gospel, and trust God with the results.
Regarding the relationship of your brother and his girlfriend, we pray that God will guide them in His truth. We pray that they will seek to glorify God in their relationship and that marriage will be their goal if they are called to be together. We rebuke any conduct that is not aligning with God's word, and we pray for purity in their relationship. We ask God to bless them with conviction and a desire to obey His Word in all things.
Let us pray together in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the father, ###, and his girlfriend to You. We ask that You will have mercy on them and draw them to Yourself. Convict them of their sin and show them their need for a Savior. Open their hearts to the Gospel and give them faith to believe. Lord, we ask for their souls. We do not want them to be left behind. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved.
Father, we also pray for the relationship between ### and his girlfriend. We ask that You will guide them in Your truth and that they will seek to glorify You in their relationship. Give them wisdom and purity, and if it is Your will, prepare them for a godly marriage.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the one who submitted this request. Give them peace and assurance, knowing that You are at work in their family. Help them to trust You with the results and to continue to pray and share the Gospel. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Keep praying and trusting God with your loved ones. We will not give up on them, and we believe for their salvation.
