We lift up your step-sister and her husband with heavy hearts, standing together in faith as we seek the Lord’s mercy and grace during this painful season. The weight of hospice care is not just physical but emotional and spiritual, and we know the enemy would love to use this time to bring despair, fear, and division. But we declare that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that your step-sister and her husband would feel His presence in tangible ways—through the kindness of others, through moments of unexpected joy, and through the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask You to strengthen their marriage in these final days. Let their love for one another reflect the love Christ has for His church—sacrificial, steadfast, and full of grace (Ephesians 5:25). Give your step-sister the endurance to walk this path with faith, not fear, and grant her husband comfort in knowing he is not alone. We rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Instead, let Your hope fill their hearts, reminding them that death is not the end for those who are in Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
We also pray for wisdom for the medical team caring for him, that they would provide compassionate and dignified support. Surround this family with a community of believers who will lift them up in prayer, bring meals, and speak life into their situation. May they find rest in Your promises, Lord, and may Your name be glorified even in this trial.
Above all, we pray that if either of them does not yet know You as Savior, that this season would draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives. Let them experience Your love in a way that leaves no doubt—You are their refuge, their strength, and their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
