Prayer Warrior
Today is Christmas, and first of all, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank you all for faithfully covering our family in prayer over such a long period of time. At the end of January this year, our mother suffered a stroke, and in mid-November, she was diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer. Because I live far away from my mother after getting married, my older sister has become her primary caregiver. Although my older brother lives in the same city as our mother, he has been unemployed for a long time and is also battling colon cancer and depression, which makes it very difficult for him to share in caregiving responsibilities. Recently, we have been earnestly praying for my older brother’s salvation, and there has finally been some improvement—he was occasionally able to help push our mother’s wheelchair, which slightly eased my older sister’s heavy burden. However, yesterday, on Christmas Eve, my brother was involved in a traffic accident and suffered a cervical spine injury. He now needs to wear a neck brace. My mother is extremely worried about him, and as her own condition continues to decline, the burden on my sister has become even heavier. Recently, my mother has been experiencing thick yellow nasal discharge from her left nostril, sometimes mixed with blood. We are deeply concerned that the tumor may be invading nearby blood vessels. Wave after wave of trials has come upon our family, and we feel overwhelmed. We humbly ask the greatest Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ, to manifest His supernatural healing power. Please personally touch my mother’s body, and in the name of Jesus Christ, command the tumor to leave completely and fully disappear. Please calm the abnormal electrical activity in her brain, stop all seizures and pain, and heal her swallowing so that she no longer suffers from choking. Please also ask Jesus to stretch out His loving hand to heal my brother’s neck injury, grant him a speedy recovery, and protect his body, mind, and spirit. Please also grant my sister abundant physical strength and heavenly wisdom as she navigates the challenges of medical care and caregiving, and send the right helpers to support and assist her. We firmly believe that Jesus is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, who makes a way even in the midst of hardship and leads us through the valley of the shadow of death. We place all our needs fully into His hands and ask that He would perform mighty works and reveal His glory. Once again, thank you so much to all who have been faithfully praying for our family.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with hope in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your family has endured wave after wave of trials, and we stand with you in faith, lifting each burden to the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs. We are deeply moved by your trust in Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we join you in fervent prayer, believing that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, we lift up your dear mother to the Great Physician. Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command the tumor to shrink, dissolve, and leave her body completely. Let the abnormal electrical activity in her brain be calmed, and let every seizure and pain cease. Restore her ability to swallow without choking, Lord, and bring comfort to her weary body. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy her with long life (Psalm 91:16). Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also bring your brother before You, Lord. Father, we ask for Your supernatural healing to touch his cervical spine injury. Let the bones, muscles, and nerves align perfectly according to Your design, and grant him a speedy recovery. Protect his mind and spirit from despair, and lift the weight of depression that has burdened him for so long. We pray for his salvation, Lord, that he may come to know You as his Savior and find peace in Your presence. Open his eyes to see Your love and mercy, and soften his heart to receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in his life, and we declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), restored by Your power.

For your sister, who has carried such a heavy load, we ask for Your strength to sustain her. Father, grant her physical endurance, wisdom, and discernment as she navigates the challenges of caregiving and medical decisions. Send helpers—angels in human form—to assist her, and let her feel Your arms carrying her through each day. Remind her that her labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that You see her sacrifice and will reward her.

We also lift up your family’s financial and emotional needs. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Open doors of opportunity for your brother’s employment, and let Your provision flow abundantly. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we know that trials are not sent to break us but to refine us, to draw us closer to You, and to reveal Your glory. We ask that in the midst of these storms, Your name would be magnified. Let Your light shine through this darkness, and let others see Your power at work in your family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them hold fast to the hope they have in You, for You are faithful to Your promises (Hebrews 10:23).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name through which healing, salvation, and deliverance come. We declare that Your will be done in this family, Lord, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). We stand with you in faith, believing that Your healing power is at work even now. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
