Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we are joining you in prayer with heavy and tender hearts for your beloved cat and for you as you care for her so faithfully through this painful journey. We do not see her as just a cat, we see her as a precious creature entrusted to you by God, and your love and devotion to her reflects His compassionate heart. We understand how heartbreaking it is to watch her struggle to breathe, to eat and drink, to have such distress with purring and cuddling when she has always been so affectionate, and to see her stare and withdraw. The Lord sees your tears and hears every desperate cry you have lifted up in Jesus name.

The Scripture reminds us how deeply God cares for His creation. Proverbs 12:10 tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal. Psalm 36:6 says you preserve man and animal, Lord. Jesus said in Matthew 10:29 that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without your Father knowing it, and how much more does He see your beloved companion and your family who loves her. He is near to the brokenhearted, and Psalm 34:18 tells us the Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart, and saves those who are of a contrite spirit. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for her and for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this precious cat to You. You know her by name, You formed her, and every breath she takes is in Your hands as Job 12:10 says the life of every living thing is in Your hand. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for Your healing touch upon her. You are able to heal what no treatment can heal, to remove this brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, whether they are from bronchitis, asthma or cancer. We ask that You ease any pain or discomfort she is in, that You calm her lungs and open her airways so she can breathe freely without coughing. We ask that You restore her desire and ability to eat normal food and drink water again and that You regulate her body so she can have regular bowel movements. We ask that You allow her to purr and to receive affection again without triggering coughing and distress, and that You lift the sadness she seems to feel. Give her comfort and peace and let her feel safe and loved in her home.

Lord, we also lift up her beloved owner who is caring for her with such diligence. Give steady and gentle hands and wisdom as she gives four pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the subcutaneous fluids each week. Take away fear of hurting her and let each treatment be given with calmness and without distress for them both. Grant wisdom for every decision that must be made, for You have promised in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we may ask of You who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given. Guide her to the right counsel and to a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if the time comes when mercy requires letting her go, so that she will not be terrified in a car or clinic, but can pass peacefully at home in familiar arms. Above all, we pray that when her time does come, whether by Your hand in her sleep or by a gentle and merciful passing, You will show her great mercy and spare her fear and suffering, and that You will surround this family with Your peace that surpasses understanding.

We thank You, Father, that we can bring even this request to You in Jesus name, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved as Acts 4:12 teaches. We trust Your perfect love and sovereignty, whether You choose to grant a full recovery or to call her home and comfort those who love her. Continue to be their strength each day, help them to rest in Your care, and let them know You hear and answer according to Your perfect will and mercy. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to lean on the Lord day by day and to keep seeking wise and compassionate veterinary guidance. It is good to ask your current veterinarian directly for a referral for in home hospice or euthanasia services, as many communities now have mobile veterinarians who do exactly this for families who want their pet to remain at home and at peace. For the difficult task of giving pills, you may also ask about options that are easier to administer, such as compounded flavored liquids or pill pockets, if appropriate for her medications. Above all, know that your faithful stewardship and tenderness toward this little life is pleasing to God, and He will give you the grace and discernment for each step ahead. We are praying that His comfort will sustain you and that you will feel His nearness in every moment of care you give.

We read every word you wrote about ### and we can feel how deeply you love her and how heavy these weeks have been. To watch the most affectionate cat you have ever known pull away because purring makes her cough, to see her stare from a distance and want to cuddle but not be able, is heartbreaking. It makes sense you feel torn between wanting more time and wanting her not to suffer.

Thank you for caring for her so faithfully through such demanding care. Giving multiple pills and inhaler treatments and fluids day after day while trying not to cause her distress takes so much out of you, and we see the tenderness in how you want her last moments, whenever they come, to be peaceful and at home, not afraid.

One thing that may ease some of the worry right now is to talk openly with her veterinarian while you still have time together. You could ask if they work with or can refer you to a mobile or hospice veterinarian in your area who does home visits, so you have a name and number ready and do not have to search in a crisis. It can also help to ask the clinic to demonstrate the pilling and inhaler technique with you again in person, so you can find the gentlest way together and know when to call them about eating, drinking or breathing changes.

Father, we lift ### and her family to You in Jesus name. Please ease any pain or fear she feels, help her to breathe more easily and rest comfortably, and give wisdom and steady hands for each treatment and decision. Surround this home with Your peace and mercy in the days ahead. Amen.

Your heavy burden and tender love for your dear cat have been heard with much sympathy and prayer before the Lord. To watch a creature so affectionate become so afflicted, to see her desire for nearness turn to coughing and withdrawal, and to carry the daily care of many medicines with fear of causing her distress, is a wilderness path where the soul faints and cries unto the Lord in its trouble. He who numbers the hairs of our heads and notes even the sparrow that falls sees also your tears and hers, and He is not unmoved by the sorrow of those who love what His hand has made.

Be comforted to remember that all the trials and troubles of this mortal life are as much in the hand of the great God as all else that befalls us, and nothing lies beyond His power. Is anything too hard for the Lord. He that worketh in us to will and to do is almighty, and makes our weakness strong. The strength to bear, to tend, and to decide comes from God alone, and the conquering name is the name of Jesus Christ. The child of God may feel that it is in very faithfulness that the Lord afflicts, and that He can bring good even through sorrow, for He quickens us by His Word and gives comfort in affliction. He healeth the broken in heart, and even now He takes His journeys of mercy among those that mourn. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him, seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that His wisdom errs not and His mercy fails not.

We will carry your requests to the mercy seat, praying to our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, through whom alone is salvation and access to the Father.

We pray that if it be His gracious will, He would lay His healing hand upon your precious cat and grant a full recovery, and that He would ease and take away pain and discomfort. We ask that He would mercifully restore her appetite and thirst, give regular and comfortable bodily functions, and ease her breathing, that she might purr and be comforted without coughing, and know again the joy of affection without distress. We pray that He would guide your hands and give you calmness and skill as you give the pills, the inhaler, and the fluids, that it may be done with gentleness and without hurt or fear. We ask for heavenly wisdom for every decision you must make concerning her care, that you may be quiet and calm, strong in the Lord for your daily work and walk in this trial. And we pray that when her time comes, the Lord in His great mercy would spare her terror and let her pass peacefully, even in her sleep if it please Him, and that He would in His providence provide a compassionate person to come to your home if such help be needed, so that she need not end her days in fear and strangeness. Above all we pray that you may feel the Lord's presence as the strength of your heart and your portion forever, that He would comfort your heart and establish you, and that you may hear His answer to your desperate cries according to His perfect love and will.

May the Lord quicken you by His Word and keep you near to Himself, for He is able to deliver now as He has delivered in ages past, and His sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love bears His lambs still in His bosom.
