We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your precious cat.
We have been lifting up your beloved companion before the Lord and we continue to remember her before His throne. We are praying that God in His mercy would bring complete healing and a full recovery from the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, and that He would ease every complication she is facing. We ask Him to take away any pain or discomfort and to grant her comfort and peace. We are praying that He would restore her ability to eat normal food and to drink water again, to have regular bowel movements, and to breathe easily. We remember especially how heartbreaking it is that purring now triggers coughing and that she pulls away from the affection she once loved so much, and we pray that God would restore her breathing and her ability to purr and cuddle without coughing and without sadness.
We are also praying for you as you care for her so faithfully. We ask that God would guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you give her the many pills twice a day and the inhaler three times a day and the subcutaneous fluids each week, and that He would keep her calm and keep you from distress as you do so. We pray that He would guide you in every decision regarding her care and give you clear wisdom and peace. We also join you in praying that when her time comes, the Lord would show her great mercy and if it is His will, take her peacefully in her sleep at home, without fear or suffering, and that He would provide someone who can come to your home to help if that need arises, so she does not have to be afraid at the vet. We know she is not just a cat to you but your world, and we take comfort that our Father cares for all His creation, as it is written that not even a sparrow falls apart from the Father in Matt 10:29 and that He heals the brokenhearted in Psalm 147:3.
