Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we join you in bringing your precious cat before the Lord with urgency and tenderness, for we know how deeply God has placed love for His creation in your heart and how heartbreaking it is to watch her suffer.

We are moved by your faithful care for her and your desire to show mercy as a good steward of the life God has entrusted to you. The scripture reminds us that a righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and that not one sparrow falls on the ground apart from your Father Matthew 10:29 and that you preserve man and animal, Yahweh Psalm 36:6. The Lord sees her every breath and cough and He sees your tears and sleepless nights. He is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.

We understand your cry that God is the only one who can help her now when medicine can only make her comfortable. We believe He is still the great healer and that nothing is too hard for Him, yet we also trust His sovereignty and perfect wisdom over life and death. We pray together for His will to be done with compassion for her and for you.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, for it is only through Him that we have access to your throne of grace. We lift up this beloved cat to you, whom you created and who has been such a source of affection and comfort. Lord, you know the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, whether from chronic bronchitis or asthma or cancer. We ask if it be your will that you would completely heal her and give her a full recovery. Ease any pain or discomfort she is in and let your mercy rest upon her. We ask that you would help her to eat normal food and drink water again and to have regular bowel movements, and that you would open her airways and help her breathing. Lord, we ask especially for her purring and coughing, that you would calm the irritation in her lungs so that she can purr and receive affection again without triggering coughing and distress. Comfort her sad heart as she wants to cuddle but pulls away, and comfort her owner who watches her stare alone.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and steady hands as her owner must give four pills twice a day and an inhaler three times a day and subcutaneous fluids each week. Give skill and gentleness so that these treatments help without hurting her or causing fear. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6 and if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Grant wisdom for every decision regarding her care, when to continue treatment and when to show mercy and let go. Guide to trustworthy veterinary counsel and, as requested, provide a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if the time comes that she needs to be helped to pass, so that she need not be terrified by driving and the clinic in her last moments. We ask that when her time comes, whether by your hand in her sleep or through gentle means at home, you would show her mercy and take away fear and let her last moments be peaceful in familiar arms.

Father, we also pray for her owner. You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Pour out your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We know she is deeply loved, but we gently remind that our ultimate hope and world is you alone, while you graciously give us companions to love. Help not to be consumed by guilt or despair, but to rest in your goodness, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God Romans 8:28. Hear these desperate cries and pleas offered in Jesus name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and we thank you that you hear us when we pray according to your will.

We thank you Lord that you care for both this precious cat and for those who love her. We trust her into your loving hands and ask for comfort, strength and clear guidance for each day ahead. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We admire the tender, faithful care you are giving her day by day. It is a lot to carry, four pills twice a day, inhaler treatments, fluids, and all the decisions that come with a serious illness with no easy treatment. Please keep your veterinary team close as you navigate this. They can be a good resource to ask directly about less stressful ways to give her medicines and to ask if they keep a list of mobile veterinarians in your area who provide gentle in-home hospice and end of life care, so you have information ahead of time if you need it, even as you continue to pray for comfort and more good days.

You are not wrong to grieve deeply. The love you have for ### matters, and God sees the compassion you show to one of His creatures entrusted to you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring ### and her family to You. Ease her breathing and any pain, and give her peace and rest. Grant wisdom, steady hands and calm for each treatment and each decision, and surround this home with Your mercy and nearness in the days ahead. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father.

May our Heavenly Father grant healing and strength to your precious beloved cat. My family and I experienced the same years ago and it wasn’t an easy decision to finally let him go. I pray that your cat’s vet will come up with a remedy will help her with any discomfort and healing, but also that she will not suffer from in any way. Your tender and sorrowful account has been read with deep sympathy and has been carried before the throne of grace. The Lord knows the affection you bear for this creature committed to your care, and He who notices the sparrow's fall is not unmindful of your tears.

There is a word for such as you are, who feel bruised and feeble under this trial. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Though your strength be small and your prayers seem but groans and sighs, remember that to lie groaning at the mercy seat is itself prayer, and the Lord hears the breathing of the soul when words fail. He will not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax. If you can say, no strength have I, then this promise is for you.

We have prayed, and will continue to pray, that our merciful Father, if it be His gracious will, would lay His healing hand upon your cat and grant a full recovery. We have asked that He would ease every pain and discomfort, that He would restore appetite and thirst, that He would grant regular bodily functions, and that He would give ease in breathing. How touching is your grief that the very purring which once spoke of contentment now brings coughing and withdraws her from your embrace. May the Lord in His compassion relieve that distress and restore to her such comfort as He sees fit to give.

We have prayed also for you, that God who is faithful and will not suffer you to be tried above what you are able, would guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you give the many pills, the inhaler, and the fluids. These duties are heavy and fearful to a tender heart, lest you cause distress. May the Lord steady you and make you an instrument of mercy to His creature, and may He bear you up under the burden, for He delights in mercy and is patient with His feeble saints.

And concerning the last and most solemn matter, we have prayed that the Lord would in His sovereignty and kindness ordain her end according to His mercy. If it be His will to take her, we have asked that He would spare her terror and suffering, and that He would in His providence provide, should it be needed, one who can minister to her in the quiet of your own home, where she knows love and safety, rather than in a place of fear. We leave this, as all else, in the hands of Him who does all things well, whether He gives or takes away, trusting that His will is best.

Do not think that your cries are unheard because they concern what some call only a cat. The Lord formed all creatures and your compassion reflects His own. Yet above all, may your own heart find its deepest comfort not in the creature but in the Creator, and in Christ Jesus our only Savior, through whom we have access to the mercy seat. Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and know that even through this trial He is purifying and keeping you by His almighty power.

May the God of all comfort grant you peace in waiting, strength for each day, and submission to His perfect will, believing that He hears and answers according to infinite wisdom and love, in Jesus name. Amen.
