Servant of All
Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We hear the depth of your love and grief for your precious cat and we join with you in bringing her before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We are so thankful you have come to the Father through Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and hope in every sorrow. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We praise God that you have cried out in that saving and powerful name.

We understand how heavy this burden is. She is not just a cat to you, she is family entrusted to your care, and God sees that love. A righteous man respects the life of his animal. Proverbs 12:10. You preserve man and animal, Yahweh. Psalm 36:6. Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father. Matthew 10:29. If our Father notices even the sparrows, how much more does He see your beloved companion and your tears over her.

We lift her and you up together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we lift up this dear cat to You. You are the Creator of all life and all breath is in Your hands. For in him we live, move, and have our being. Acts 17:28 and In his hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and compassion upon her. If it is Your will, we ask that You would completely heal her, that You would touch the tumor in her brain and the masses and lesions on her lungs, whether from chronic bronchitis or asthma or cancer, and bring full recovery where man says there is no treatment. Nothing is impossible with You. We ask that You would ease any pain or discomfort she is in, that You would calm her breathing and quiet her coughing. We pray You would restore her appetite and thirst, that she would eat normal food and drink water again, and that You would regulate her bowel movements and give her body strength. Lord, we especially lift up her purring and her affectionate spirit. It breaks our hearts that purring now triggers coughing and she isolates herself and stares, longing for closeness but suffering when she seeks it. We ask that You would heal her airways so she can purr and be held and cuddle without coughing or distress, and restore her joy and comfort.

Father, we pray for wisdom and steady hands for her beloved owner. Guide every medication given, the four pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the subcutaneous fluids each week. Give skill and gentleness so that it does not hurt her or cause her fear, and give peace to both of them in those moments. We ask for Your clear guidance in every decision regarding her care, that You would grant wisdom liberally as You have promised. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

Lord, we also bring before You the anguish about her final moments. We ask for Your mercy when her time comes, that if You do not heal her on this earth, You would take her peacefully in her sleep at home in familiar arms, without terror or confusion. We pray You would provide a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if that difficult decision of euthanasia must be made, so she never has to be alone and terrified in a clinic. Give her family perfect peace and assurance that they are acting as faithful stewards with love. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray for the family who loves her so deeply. Comfort their broken hearts, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. Guard their hearts and minds with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Help them to trust that even in this painful valley You are good and You work all things together for good for those who love You. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

We thank You that You hear our desperate cries. We trust Your perfect love and perfect timing, whether You choose to heal her miraculously or to carry her gently home in Your mercy. We continue to seek Your will together and we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord as you have been doing, and to keep showing her gentle affection even when she pulls away, speaking softly and letting her set the pace so she feels safe and loved. Keep working closely with your veterinarian about palliative comfort and ask them directly for referrals to mobile or hospice veterinarians who provide in home end of life care, many communities now have them and they understand the desire for a peaceful passing at home. Document how she is eating, drinking, breathing and resting each day so you can see patterns and make wise, unhurried decisions with counsel. Above all, rest in knowing your compassionate care for her is pleasing to God and that He holds both of you in His hands.

Thank you for sharing all of this about ###. We hear how deeply you love her and how hard these weeks have been, watching the cat who was so affectionate now pull away because purring makes her cough. That kind of change is heartbreaking, and the daily work of pills, inhaler and fluids while trying not to cause her more stress is a lot to carry.

We are joining you in prayer for her comfort, for ease in breathing and eating and drinking, and for wisdom for you in each decision ahead. It makes sense that you want her last moments, whenever they come, to be peaceful and at home where she feels safe.

One gentle next step that may ease some worry now is to talk with your veterinarian soon, before a crisis, about whether they offer home visits or can refer you to a mobile veterinarian in your area for end of life care at home. You could also ask the clinic if a technician can watch you give the pills and inhaler once and show you small adjustments that make it less distressing for both of you.

Father, we bring ### and her family before You. Please give comfort where there is pain, steady their hands as they care for her, and grant clear wisdom for each choice. Surround them with Your peace in the days ahead and let ### know she is deeply loved and safe in Your care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your sorrow has been laid very openly before the Lord, and He who hears the cries of His people is not unmindful of the burden you carry for this little creature committed to your care. How careful God is of His people, not only for their life, but for their comfort, and He says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people. It is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who is the very essence of the believer's consolation, and from Him flows that river of the Water of Life which quenches our thirst in affliction.

The Lord knows your love for this cat, and that she has been a tender companion to you. He who numbers the hairs of our head and notes the fall of a sparrow sees also this suffering, and He is able to comfort as a mother comforts her child, very fondly and very near, not standing afar off, but drawing close in the place of trouble. In Jerusalem, in the very place of your trial, He has promised to comfort you, and often He does this by His omnipotent secret working upon the human heart when Providence does not at once remove the affliction.

We bring your petitions before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone is salvation.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon your cat if it be His will, and give her full recovery, for with God nothing is impossible. We ask that He would ease every pain and discomfort, that He would mercifully relieve her breathing, stay her coughing, and restore her ability to eat and drink water again and to have regular and natural bodily functions. We pray that He would so touch her lungs and her head that purring, which was once her joy and yours, would no longer bring distress, and that she might again know comfort and affection without fear.

We pray that the Lord would guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you administer the many medicines required, the pills twice a day, the inhaler, and the subcutaneous fluids, that you might do so without hurting her or causing her distress, and that He would give you clear wisdom for every decision regarding her care.

We pray also for that solemn hour which must come to all living creatures, that the Lord would show her mercy and grant her a peaceful end. If her time to depart is near, we ask that the Lord would provide, in His providence, one who can come to your house to minister to her there, so that she need not spend her last moments in terror and strange surroundings, but in the place she knows and loves, surrounded by those who love her. We ask the Lord to spare you both unnecessary fear and to let His peace rule in that hour.

Above all we pray that you may find your own comfort not only in the hope of relief for your beloved pet, but in the Word which quickens the soul. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. May the Spirit of God teach you to say so, and may you know that whether He grants healing here or calls this little life home, His love and His comfort remain constant, and the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of all our sorrows in Christ.

We commend you and your dear cat to Him who is tender and full of compassion, trusting that He hears every desperate cry offered in the name of Jesus, and that He will do what is best and most merciful according to His perfect will. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heartfelt request for your beloved cat has been read with deep compassion, and the sorrow you carry is clearly very heavy. To watch a creature who has given you such affection now struggle to breathe, to eat, to be held without coughing, and to see her withdraw and stare is indeed heartbreaking. It is right to grieve this, for love for the creatures entrusted to our care is a good and tender thing, and God sees the care you have shown her.

Scripture tells us that not even a sparrow falls apart from our Father, and that a righteous person cares for the needs of his animal. The Lord knows your tears and hears your desperate cries. At the same time, His word also reminds us that even the apostles did not see every sickness healed in this life, for Paul left Trophimus sick at Miletus, and God in His wisdom does not always remove the affliction, but He is always present to give mercy, comfort, and strength to endure. Your grief is not hidden from Him, and He invites you to bring every burden to Him and to find medicine for the soul in His promises.

I join you in prayer before our merciful Father:

I pray that God in His compassion would lay His hand upon your cat and grant healing if it be according to His gracious will, and that He would ease any pain or discomfort she feels and give her rest. I pray that He would help her to eat and drink again, to have normal bowel movements, and to breathe more easily, and that the coughing that now comes even with her purring would be relieved so she may know comfort and peace. I pray that God would guide your hands and give you wisdom and steadiness as you give her pills, the inhaler, and the fluids, that you may do so without causing her distress or harm, and that He would give you clear wisdom for every decision you must make on her behalf.

I also pray that when her time comes, the Lord would show her great mercy, and that if it is necessary to help her pass, He would provide a kind veterinarian who can come to your home so she need not be afraid, shaking and alone in an unfamiliar place, but may be at peace in the place she knows and loves. I pray that God would guard your heart from guilt and fear, and fill you with His peace that passes understanding, and remind you that He hears every prayer you have offered in the name of Jesus.

Take comfort in bringing all these things continually to Him, and keep His word near to you as a chest of medicines for sorrow, for He is near to the brokenhearted. May the Lord sustain you and your precious companion with His kindness day by day, and may you know His presence and guidance in every step.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
