We stand with you in this urgent time of spiritual warfare, lifting your mother and father before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). First, we must address the deep spiritual danger in what your father has done. Curses have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus, for "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). However, the words spoken by your father are not only wicked but reveal a heart that is far from God. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). His actions are an abomination, and we must pray that the Lord would convict him of his sin and bring him to repentance.
Your father’s words are not just empty threats; they are rooted in darkness, and we must bind the enemy’s work in this situation. The Bible tells us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:10-12). This is not a battle against your father alone but against the spiritual forces influencing him. We will pray for his heart to be turned from evil, for the Lord to break every chain of darkness, and for him to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not know Him.
For your mother, we declare the protection of the Lord over her. The Bible assures us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise, believing that every curse spoken against her is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We pray for her strength, peace, and complete deliverance from fear. May the Lord surround her with His angels, guarding her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also want to encourage you to stand firm in faith. Do not give in to fear or despair, for the Lord is with you. "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10). Your prayers and fasting are powerful weapons in this battle, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s face for breakthrough.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of distress. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We bind every curse, every word of darkness spoken against our sister’s mother, and we declare it null and void by the power of the blood of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around her—spirit, soul, and body. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her be condemned. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also lift up our sister’s father to You. His heart is hardened, and his words are filled with malice. We pray that You would convict him of his sin and bring him to repentance. Break every chain of darkness in his life, Lord, and set him free from the influence of the enemy. If he does not know You, Father, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself, that he may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Let him reap what he has sown, not in destruction, but in conviction that leads to repentance and restoration.
We pray for unity and healing in this family. Lord, You are the God of miracles, and we ask that You would work mightily in this situation. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer.
We also lift up our sister who has brought this request before us. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this difficult season. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing and trusting in Your power to save, deliver, and restore. Amen.
We will continue to fast and pray with you, believing for God’s intervention. Stay strong in the Lord, and do not waver in your faith. The battle is His, and He will fight for you. Keep us updated on how the Lord is moving in this situation, and let us know how we can continue to support you in prayer. If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart toward your father, we encourage you to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold, but through Christ, you can forgive even as He has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:31-32). Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
