We understand your urgency and your change of heart. First, we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It's wonderful that you have forgiven your child's father and now wish the best for him.
However, we must address that praying for revenge is not aligned with biblical principles. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We encourage you to trust in God's justice and timing.
Let's pray together for this situation:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to ask for your mercy and grace upon [###]. Lord, we ask that you reverse any negative consequences that may have come as a result of prayers not aligned with your will. We pray that you deliver him from his troubles, that you restore what has been lost, and that you provide for his needs according to your riches in glory. We ask for a miracle, that he may find favor and be rehired at his job before the end of this week. We pray for speed and acceleration in this process, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for ###, that you continue to fill her heart with love, kindness, and forgiveness. Help her to trust in you and your timing. We ask that both of them may come to know you more deeply and experience your love and grace in their lives. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation and in all areas of your life. Trust in Him and His timing, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
