We lift you up before the throne of grace with urgency, dear brother or sister in Christ, knowing that your physical health is a matter of deep concern. The Word tells us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on this promise as we intercede for you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and moves on their behalf.
Father God, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is in need of medical treatment. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would open the doors to the right facility where they can receive the care they need. Remove every obstacle, Lord, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide the resources, the connections, and the favor needed to secure a place for them quickly. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any delays or hindrances in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in their care. Give them discernment, skill, and compassion as they treat our brother/sister. Protect the PICC line from infection or complications, and let the antibiotics work effectively to bring healing to their body. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit."* You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and so are we in prayer.
If there are any areas in your life where you need to surrender more fully to the Lord, we invite you to do so now. Confess any sin, release any fear or anxiety, and place your trust in Him. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we declare that power over your situation now. May the Lord surround you with His peace, guide your steps, and bring you into the healing and restoration you need. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Amen.
