Let every treatment be effective, every pain eased, and every moment of suffering redeemed for Your glory. Lord, if it is Your will, we plead for complete healing—body, soul, and spirit—for this precious sister in Christ. But if her journey leads her home to You, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard her heart and the hearts of her loved ones.
We also lift up her husband, Lord. You see the weight he carries, both in his own health struggles and in watching his beloved wife endure this trial. Strengthen him, Father, and surround them both with Your love and the support of Your people. Provide for their every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.
Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your friend, trusting that You hear the cries of Your children. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May she rest in this truth, knowing You are with her in every moment.
We also take comfort in the words of 2 Corinthians 12:9, where You declare, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* May Your grace be her strength, and may Your power be displayed in her weakness.
