We lift up your friend ### before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, sensing the concern you carry for their well-being. The unease stirred by social media posts is not to be dismissed lightly, for Scripture warns us, *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9 WEB). Yet even in this, we remember that God sees what we cannot, and His love pursues the wandering soul.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with intercession for ###. You know the depths of their heart, the struggles they face, and the snares that may be entangling them. We ask that You would break any chains of deception, distraction, or despair that may be pulling them away from Your truth. *"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18 WEB). Draw ### back to You, Lord, with cords of love and bands of kindness. Let them hear Your voice clearly above the noise of this world, and grant them the courage to turn from anything that dishonors You.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, dear brother or sister in Christ. It is a godly thing to be burdened for another’s spiritual well-being, but we must guard our own hearts as well. *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23 WEB). May the Lord give you peace as you entrust ### to His care, and may He use you as a vessel of His love if He calls you to speak truth into their life.
If these concerns involve sin—whether it be unrepentant behavior, a relationship not aligned with Your Word, or a turning away from the faith—we boldly rebuke those strongholds in Jesus’ name. *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB). We declare that no plan of the enemy will prosper in ###’s life, and we stand on Your promise that *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
Above all, we pray that ### would come to know—or return to—the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have never surrendered their life to Him, we ask that You would convict them of their need for a Savior. If they have wandered from the faith, we plead for their repentance and restoration. May they experience the fullness of Your mercy, for *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).
We trust in Your perfect will, Lord, knowing that Your plans for ### are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith, renew their mind, and let them walk in the light of Your truth. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
