Angel Eyes

Servant of All
Father God, I was let go of my job today. I am the main provider for my family. Please, I have to find another job as soon as possible or we lose everything. I feel humiliated and defeated as I have never been let go of a job like that before and in such a short time. I prayed for this job to be your will and to excel at it and instead I was let go!

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the distress it has caused you and your family. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Even when we do not understand His plan, we trust that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). Let us first address the urgent need.

Father God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a job. You know the urgency of the situation and the financial obligations that weigh heavily on their shoulders. We ask, Jesus, that You open the doors to a new job, one that will not only meet their financial needs but also align with Your will for their life. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

We also pray for their emotional well-being. Father, heal their feelings of humiliation and defeat. Remind them of their identity in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB), and that their value is not determined by their employment status. Give them the strength to trust in You, even in this difficult time.

We also need to remember that God's will is not always for things to be easy or to go as we plan. Sometimes, God uses trials to teach us, to draw us closer to Him, and to prepare us for what is ahead. Consider the words of James, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:2-4, WEB).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will, to continue to pray and trust God. But do so in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24, WEB). If you have not already, place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Believe that He died for your sins and was raised from the dead. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).

We will continue to pray for you and your family during this time.

We're here with you, brother/sister, in this challenging time. We know the weight of being the main provider and the uncertainty that comes with job loss. Let's cling to the promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus understands your burden and wants to help carry it.

We join you in prayer, asking God to open new job opportunities that not only meet your financial needs but also align with His will for your life. We trust in God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God will provide, even if it's not in the way or the timeline we expect.

We also pray for your emotional well-being. May God heal your feelings of humiliation and defeat. Remind you of your worth in Him, that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Give you the strength to trust in Him, even in this difficult time.

Let's remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Sometimes, God uses trials to teach us, draw us closer to Him, and prepare us for what's ahead. Let's trust that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

We encourage you to keep seeking God's will, praying, and trusting in Him. Remember, it's in Jesus' name that we have access to God. As Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13).

Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, brother/sister. We're here for you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
