Dear all, This is to inform you that my office colleague, ###, is going through an extremely difficult time with his ###-year-old daughter, ###. Contact Number - ###/ ### ### has been diagnosed with ###, which has unfortunately spread to multiple parts of her body, including the ###, ###, ###, and ###. She has been receiving treatment at ###, ###, and has completed ### cycles of ###. However, her recent ### showed that the ### has continued to spread, and unfortunately, the ### is no longer supporting her condition. The doctors have informed the family that her condition is very critical and have given an estimated timeline of around ### months. She was brought home last week. At present, she is able to take only ###, is unable to ###, and is ### and dependent on her family for her daily needs. This is an extremely painful and difficult situation for the entire family. We humbly request everyone to keep ### and her family in your prayers. Please pray sincerely for God's healing, mercy, strength, comfort, and peace for ###, and for strength and courage for her parents and family during this very difficult time. We lift our hearts in deep sorrow and earnest prayer for this precious young life and her family as they walk through this valley of shadows. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, the Resurrection and the Life. You alone hold the power over life and death, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this dear child. If it be Your will, restore her body, renew her strength, and bring complete healing to every part of her being. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23).

Lord, we also pray for her parents and family, who are carrying this heavy burden. Fill them with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them when they are weak, comfort them in their grief, and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Give them wisdom to make decisions with clarity and faith, and surround them with Your love through the support of friends, church family, and community.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm this family. In the name of Jesus, we command fear to flee and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We pray that their faith would not waver but grow stronger as they trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, if this child does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw her close. Open her heart to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May she experience Your presence in a tangible way, feeling Your love and peace even in the midst of pain.

We also ask for Your provision in every practical need, whether it be medical care, financial support, or daily assistance. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether You choose to heal her miraculously, sustain her through this trial, or call her home to be with You, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are lifting up this young girl and her family before the Lord, and we are so sorry they are walking through such a heavy and painful time. The weight of a ###, the daily exhaustion, and the grief of watching a child suffer can feel unbearable, even as hope persists.

In the midst of this, the steady presence of others can quietly sustain a family. If you are able as office colleagues, one of the most practical ways to help might be coordinating a simple meal train, offering to run errands, or just sitting with the family so they are not alone in the long, hard hours. When attending church becomes impossible, bring the church to them, someone to pray softly in the room, read a Psalm, or just keep watch for a few hours so the parents can rest. These small acts of love help the family know they are held, even when everything seems to be slipping away.

Lord Jesus, we bring this precious daughter to You now. You know her body’s weakness, her pain, and her fear. We ask for Your mercy, for relief, for moments of peace, and for Your presence to be palpable in that home. Please hold her close, and give her heart a deep awareness that she is not alone.

We pray for her parents and family. Strengthen them with courage that goes beyond their own reserves. When words fail, may they simply lean on You. Surround them with people who will carry them when they cannot carry themselves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The weight of this sorrow is heavy indeed, and the tempter will whisper that such a time is past praying, that the heart is too crushed to form words. Cast that lie aside. You need not prepare yourself to pray by keeping away from the Mercy Seat. It is in times just like this that the soul, stripped of all its own strength, can do nothing but groan or breathe at its foot, and that is the truest preparation for pleading before the Lord. What cares He for the grammar of the cry? It is the soul of it that He seeks, a heart pouring itself out in wordless longing, in the desperate hope for mercy where no other hope can cast its anchor.

Be not in a hurry, for the Lord is good to the soul that waits for Him. Even now, as this dear child is laid low, drawn near to the very gates of death, I can almost clap my hands for sorrowful joy that she is brought to a place where the gates of everlasting life may swing wide. The logic of grace is strange. The very depth of this need, the malignancy that spreads in her body against all earthly healing, is not a barrier to mercy but rather the door through which sovereign grace delights to enter. Where the flesh fails, the Word of God, applied by the Spirit, finds its opportunity. Pray, then, not as one who must climb to God by vehement speech, but as one who whispers, "Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears." Let that be the prayer of the father, the mother, the interceding friend, a short, straight prayer shot directly to the God of Heaven. It is a prayer for guidance in a path that seems surrounded by enemies of doubt and despair. Cry out, "Hold me, Lord, by my right hand."

The physicians have given their timeline, and human wisdom sees no remedy. But we have known the Lord's compassions to be new every morning. He sends supplies for the day's need, and great is His faithfulness. Therefore, do not merely ask for a miracle of healing for the body, though we dare to hope for it, but seek with greater intensity the healing of the soul, for that is the truest mercy. Lay hold of the Christ who is the very Word of God sent for sin-sick souls. Plead the promise that He has borne the yoke and is gentle, that He will not quench the smoking flax. If this trial drives each one in that house to say from the heart, "God be merciful to me a sinner," then affliction is already doing its blessed work. Let patience and comfort from the Scriptures beget a hope that looks beyond the seen and temporal. That hope does not disappoint, because it rests on covenant love, sealed by blood, whispered by the Spirit. For such a one as she is, for a broken father, for a weeping mother, the door of mercy stands open in Christ alone. Cast yourselves wholly upon Him.
