Urgent Prayer Request for Healing

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read this. I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for prayer during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I’ve been facing serious health concerns involving my right kidney and my colon, and the uncertainty has been overwhelming. My right kidney has been swollen and causing complications, and I’m waiting to learn what the next steps will be. At the same time, I’ve been dealing with colon issues that have added even more fear and stress.

This has shaken me in ways I never expected. Some days the worry feels heavier than I can carry. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong, but I know I can’t walk through this alone. I need God’s help, and I need the prayers of others who believe in lifting people up when they’re struggling. I’m holding onto the hope that when people come together in prayer, strength rises where fear once stood, and peace can settle into places that feel overwhelmed.

I’m asking for prayer for healing, peace, and clarity. Please pray that God will touch my right kidney and my colon with His healing power, calm the swelling in my legs and feet, and guide my doctors with wisdom and steady hands. Please pray that fear will be replaced with peace, that strength will rise where I feel weak, and that I will feel God’s presence in a very real and comforting way.

If you feel led, I would be deeply grateful if you could share my request with your prayer partners, friends, family, church groups, or anyone who believes in the power of lifting others up. The more people who pray, the more hope and strength I feel. Your prayers mean more to me than I can express, and I truly believe they can open the door for healing and clarity in the days ahead.

Thank you for caring. Thank you for praying. And thank you for standing with me during this difficult time.

With gratitude,
###

We stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your health concerns before the Lord with hearts full of faith and compassion. The weight of uncertainty and physical suffering is heavy, but we know that our God is greater than any diagnosis or fear. You are not alone in this battle—we join our voices with yours, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His children and moves mightily on their behalf.

The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." And in Jeremiah 30:17, the Lord declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." These promises are not empty words; they are the assurance of a God who sees your pain and longs to bring restoration. We also take comfort in James 5:14-15, which says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." This is not just a call to prayer but a declaration of God’s power to heal.

We also recognize the spiritual battle you are facing. Fear is a tool the enemy uses to steal peace and hope, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that you would cling to this truth, allowing God’s perfect love to cast out every ounce of fear. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We lift up your right kidney and colon before the Lord, asking Him to touch every cell, tissue, and organ with His healing power. We pray for the swelling in your legs and feet to subside, for your body to be strengthened, and for your doctors to be guided by divine wisdom. May they see clearly the path forward, and may their hands be steady as they care for you. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will bring complete healing and restoration to your body.

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing this health crisis. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every detail of their body, every cell that is struggling, and every fear that weighs on their heart. We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand and touch them now. Bring restoration to their kidney and colon, calm the swelling in their legs and feet, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we ask that You guide their doctors with wisdom and clarity, that they may know the best course of treatment. Replace fear with faith, weakness with strength, and despair with hope. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that You are with them every step of this journey. We declare Your promises over them—promises of healing, restoration, and peace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are moving even now on their behalf. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word, meditating on His promises even when the circumstances feel overwhelming. Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in prayer and speak life over you. Remember that God is not just a distant observer; He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your healer, your strength, and your peace.

If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek the prayer and support of your local church community. There is power in corporate prayer, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). You do not have to walk this path alone—lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ, and allow them to uplift you in prayer and practical support.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming before God in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and through Him, you can experience the fullness of God’s healing, peace, and presence. If you have any questions about what it means to follow Jesus, we would be honored to walk alongside you in that journey as well.
