Urgent Prayer Request for Healing

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read this. I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for prayer during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I’ve been facing serious health concerns involving my right kidney and my colon, and the uncertainty has been overwhelming. My right kidney has been swollen and causing complications, and I’m waiting to learn what the next steps will be. At the same time, I’ve been dealing with colon issues that have added even more fear and stress.

This has shaken me in ways I never expected. Some days the worry feels heavier than I can carry. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong, but I know I can’t walk through this alone. I need God’s help, and I need the prayers of others who believe in lifting people up when they’re struggling. I’m holding onto the hope that when people come together in prayer, strength rises where fear once stood, and peace can settle into places that feel overwhelmed.

I’m asking for prayer for healing, peace, and clarity. Please pray that God will touch my right kidney and my colon with His healing power, calm the swelling in my legs and feet, and guide my doctors with wisdom and steady hands. Please pray that fear will be replaced with peace, that strength will rise where I feel weak, and that I will feel God’s presence in a very real and comforting way.

If you feel led, I would be deeply grateful if you could share my request with your prayer partners, friends, family, church groups, or anyone who believes in the power of lifting others up. The more people who pray, the more hope and strength I feel. Your prayers mean more to me than I can express, and I truly believe they can open the door for healing and clarity in the days ahead.

Thank you for caring. Thank you for praying. And thank you for standing with me during this difficult time.

With gratitude,
###

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your pain and fear are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle and records every ache in His book. The swelling in your kidney and colon, the uncertainty of medical outcomes, and the weight of anxiety pressing upon you—none of these are beyond His reach or outside His care.

The Scriptures declare, *"Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God’s healing power is not limited by medical reports or human understanding. He is the Great Physician, the One who knit you together in your mother’s womb and knows every cell in your body. We pray that His healing hand would rest upon your kidney and colon, reducing inflammation, restoring function, and bringing clarity to your doctors as they seek to treat you.

We also lift up the fear that threatens to overwhelm you. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your peace and convince you that you are alone in this battle. But God’s Word reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and command it to flee from you. Instead, we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you feel His presence like a warm embrace, reminding you that you are never alone, even in the darkest valleys.

We pray for your doctors and medical team, that God would grant them wisdom beyond their training, steady hands, and clarity of mind as they care for you. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit to make decisions that align with God’s will for your healing. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also encourage you to draw near to God in this season. Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses each day. Let the Psalms remind you of His faithfulness, and let the Gospels point you to the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). If you have not already, consider asking your church elders or trusted believers to anoint you with oil and pray over you, as James instructs. There is power in the corporate prayer of the saints, and we believe your healing will be a testimony to God’s glory.

Above all, we want to remind you that your ultimate healing—whether in this life or the next—is found in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is through His name alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you are already a believer, we pray that this trial would draw you closer to Him and deepen your faith.

Father God, we come before You with hearts broken for our brother/sister in their time of need. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand and touch their kidney and colon, bringing restoration and relief. Calm the swelling in their legs and feet, and grant their doctors wisdom and skill. Replace their fear with Your perfect peace, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke every spirit of sickness and fear in the name of Jesus, and we declare that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and use this trial for Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God hears our prayers and will move on your behalf. You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved. May the Lord bless you with His peace, His presence, and His healing touch in the days ahead.

We're right here with you, dear friend, holding your hands up to our loving Father. We've been praying for you, asking God to wrap His healing hands around your kidney and colon, bringing relief and restoration. We've been asking Him to calm the swelling in your legs and feet, to guide your doctors with wisdom and steady hands, and to fill you with His perfect peace.

We've been reminded of His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over you, believing that God is already at work, mending and healing. We also claim Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We know that God is near, even in the midst of your pain and uncertainty.

We've been interceding for you, asking God to give you strength where you feel weak, courage where you feel afraid, and hope where you feel overwhelmed. We've been praying that you would feel God's presence in a very real and comforting way, reminding you that you are never alone.

We've also been praying for your medical team, asking God to guide them with wisdom and skill as they care for you. We've been believing for clarity in their diagnoses and treatments, and for God's will to be done in your life.

We want you to know that we're not just praying for you, but we're also believing with you. We're confident that God hears our prayers and is moving on your behalf. We're trusting that He will bring healing, clarity, and peace in the days ahead.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep fighting. We're right here with you, every step of the way. You are loved, you are prayed for, and you are never alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your urgent prayer request in our hearts these past several days. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up your right kidney and colon before the Great Physician, asking for His healing touch to calm the swelling and restore full health. We have prayed specifically that fear would lose its grip on your heart and that the peace of Christ would settle over you like a gentle blanket, quieting every anxious thought. We asked the Lord to steady the hands and minds of your doctors, filling them with divine wisdom as they determine the next steps in your care.

We also prayed that you would sense God’s presence in a tangible way—strength rising in moments of weakness, hope breaking through the shadows of uncertainty, and comfort wrapping around you when the weight of this trial feels too heavy to bear. You are not walking this path alone; we are walking it with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect will.

If God has already moved in miraculous ways—whether through healing, clarity, or an overwhelming sense of His peace—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how He has worked so we can rejoice together. If your journey still feels uncertain or the burden remains heavy, we invite you to post your request again so we can continue standing with you in prayer. We are committed to lifting you up until every need is met and every fear is replaced with faith.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him. May His love surround you, His strength sustain you, and His hope fill you with courage for each new day. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
