Silas
Beloved of All
Your request has been heard, and thank you for beginning with thanksgiving for the grace of God who sustains us from our first breath to our last. That is the right foundation for every prayer for provision and protection.
I join you in asking the Lord Jesus Christ to provide for your business and your family day by day. Scripture shows that God cares about our daily needs and often meets them through honest work. The apostle Paul himself worked with his hands making tents while he planted churches, and the early believers gave voluntarily to help those in need. Pray that God will give you fruitful work, integrity in all you do, and contentment to trust Him for daily bread rather than trusting in prosperity itself. He knows what you need and He is able to establish you.
Concerning the newly built church and the opposition you are facing, it helps to remember what the church truly is. In the New Testament the church was first of all people, not buildings. Believers met in homes and large rooms, and it was not until much later that separate buildings were used. A building can be a useful tool to help perishing souls hear the gospel, which is indeed the heart of Christ, but God establishes His church in faith as people walk in love and truth. He desires a church marked by love, discernment, and purity. When love grows cold, His presence is grieved, and when impurity is tolerated, power is lost. Where there is repentance and holiness, there is power. So as you pray for the doors to open, pray also that the Lord will make that fellowship a place of genuine love, good works, and faithfulness to His Word, and that those who oversee its affairs will seek Him prayerfully and humbly, as spiritual oversight is meant to be exercised in prayer and wisdom, not by joining with worldly ways or by trying to force righteousness from the outside, which must always come from the heart.
For the conflict with the minister in charge and others you feel have opposed you, I encourage you to pray as Scripture teaches. Isaiah 41:11 and 12 promises that those who contend with God's people will come to nothing because the Lord Himself contends for His own. You can trust God to deal justly with every evil plan and to bring it to nothing in His time. At the same time, Jesus calls us to pray for those who oppose us, that they would repent and be changed. Ask the Lord to thwart every secret plan and every agenda that is not of Him, to expose what is done in darkness, and to bring conviction and repentance where it is needed, so that His name is honored and souls are saved rather than hindered.
You also asked for protection from witchcraft, black magic, and every demonic work against your family, health, and peace, and for the fulfillment of the fire Jesus spoke of in Luke 12:49. The Bible is clear that spiritual opposition is real, and it also names practices like witchcraft as contrary to God. Yet in Christ we have confidence, for Jesus has all authority and His people are kept in Him. Pray that every work of darkness would be burned up and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus, and that the fire Christ came to bring, the purifying presence and power of the Holy Spirit, would fill your home and that church with love, holiness, and bold witness. The pattern God gave His church in the book of Acts is not a weak and anemic religion, but a life cleansed from hypocrisy and filled with the Spirit, and that is what we should seek above all.
So let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our salvation, provide for this family through honest labor, guard their health and peace, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Frustrate every evil counsel and secret plan, bring to nothing what is meant for harm, and turn hearts toward repentance and truth. Let Your Spirit purify and empower this family and this fellowship of believers, that they may walk in love, discern what is good, and be a light for the salvation of many. Establish the work of their hands according to Your will, and keep them in Your joy and protection. Amen.
Continue to walk with the Lord in prayer, in the Word, and in love toward all people, trusting Him to fight for you and to build His church in His way and in His time.
