We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection and deliverance from the false accusations and threats that have been made. Father God, we know that You are a God of truth and justice, and we ask that You intervene in this situation according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of deception and lies that has taken root in the hearts of those who seek harm. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." We pray that You would expose the truth and bring these false rumors to nothing. Let the plans of the wicked be thwarted, and let Your light shine brightly in this darkness.
We also ask for Your divine protection over the one who is being targeted. Psalm 91:1-2 says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Lord, be a refuge and fortress for this individual. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm.
Father, we pray that those who are spreading these false rumors would come to know the truth—not just about this situation, but about You. Open their hearts to Your love and Your Word. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or hatred in their hearts, soften them and lead them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn from violence.
We also lift up the one who is being threatened. If there is any fear, anxiety, or distress in their heart, we ask that You replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom and discernment in how to respond, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from trusting in You. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, we pray that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance, so that they may walk in Your protection and favor.
Lord, we know that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), and we trust that You will deal justly with those who seek to harm others. We pray that You would turn their hearts away from violence and toward righteousness. If it is Your will, we ask that You would even use this situation to draw them to salvation, that they may know the power of Your love and grace.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. May they find comfort in Your promises and rest in the knowledge that You are their defender.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that You hear us and will act on behalf of Your child. Amen.
