We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you're facing. We will stand with you in prayer and also provide some biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about our relationships, especially those within families. As it is said in Malachi 4:6 WEB, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers". This is a beautiful picture of reconciliation.
However, we must also remember that God does not force anyone to change their hearts or actions. He is a loving Father that wants us to choose Him. He wants us to make decisions for Him and His will for our lives. He gives each person free will, and we must respect that in our loved ones as well.
It's also crucial to understand that while marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman and should be sanctified when appropriate, we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2Cor6:14 (WEB). We can only be held accountable for our own actions as well as the children God has entrusted us with. We must not fall into the trap of ignoring the clear warnings against such relationships in the Bible.
Regarding the anger, we should remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB, "Be angry, yet don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to acknowledge anger but not let it control our actions or allow it to fester and grow into bitterness.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is facing this difficult situation. We ask, Lord, that You soften her/his father's heart, that You guide him and if appropriate bring him back to the family. As scripture says in 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, if any provide not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. Help him to see the importance of this, if he is an unbeliever. Father, help him to see the importance of a role in the family and to take it seriously, to help guide and grow the children You have entrusted to Him. Help him to control his anger and turn away from his sin, we pray. Help him to act righteously in all his actions and decisions and to seek help, guidance and support from You and Your Word, Father.
We also pray for our ###, that You grant her/him peace, wisdom, and strength during this time. Help her/him to trust in You and Your promises, remembering that You are a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, in His holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families; He leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." Psalm 68:5-6 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, reconciliation, guidance and protection. Amen."
